Our host, Christos, was amazingly gracious and gave us lots of great tips for places to eat and visit. He made himself available to us via text message when we were out and about and needed some advice and helped book us taxis to our ferry. Ive stayed in many places in Rhodes before and thoroughly recommend this property for its location, comfort, facilities and the warmth of the hosts. 5 stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Lovely interieur with lots of timeless vintage flair, cozy rooms, decent beds, absolutely amazing and welcoming hosts - we felt like we were staying with friends! The Casa is perfectly situated nearby the sea in the new town of Rhodes, but the old town is just a seven minute walk away. Anything you need (supermarkets, pharmacy, good restaurants and bars) is nearby, I could not imagine a better stay in Rhodes.

    13km, a 20 minute drive by car/taxi. Everything is on a walking distance as we are in city center eg 400m to Elli beach/Aquarium, 900m old town etc

At the Northern tip of the island of Rhodes, an old house lies peacefully through the centuries. Built in 1730, Casa Antica is a landmark building in the center of Rhodes city, placed in a quiet and picturesque pedestrian street in the traditional neighborhood of Niohori. Back in 1800s, it originally housed the Spanish consulate of the island. Used as a guest house since 1998, it was fully renovated in 2009 with absolute respect to tradition, history and under the strict supervision of the local Archaeological authorities. With seven independent apartments only, all different among them, and all equipped with COCO-MAT ecological furniture, mattresses and linen, supreme quality amenities and other modern comforts that enable you to enjoy all the comforts of a modern holiday accommodation combined with simplicity and tranquility. But above all, Casa Antica is a home. Your home in Rhodes. This is where your apartment is, your courtyard, your terrace, and Marouska, your cat. Just a few meters away from some of the island's main attractions, your home in Rhodes is definitely at a strategic location.
We love travelling, going places, meeting people, tasting new flavors. Through our travels and our previous job experience we decided, right after we got married, to make a place for travelers not tourists, a place for the ones that want to get involved in the local culture and discover the other side of Rhodes. And then we found this magnificent building, with all its history and charm, which was already so loved by its previous owners. It was love at first sight! Here at Casa Antica we treat our guests as the friends we believe they are and we try to offer them what we are looking for while travelling. Comfort, useful advice, help with all the little things involved and of course a place to relax.
Niochori is one of the oldest neighborhoods of Rhodes. It is located at the northernmost tip of the island and beyond the walls of the medieval town, even though it seems like it is a part of it, as its architecture is very similar. Very central but magically hidden from the crowds with its quiet, peaceful alleys where you can get lost, feel relaxed and blissful, or if you feel like it enjoy yourself at any of the bars and restaurants that are not far away. So old and quiet and yet so close where everything happens. Elli beach, the Aquarium, Mandraki harbor, the Medieval Town of Rhodes. Casino Rodos, Santa Maria the catholic church, the Turkish Embassy and many more, all in walking distance for you to explore.
