The island is big, but you can go everywhere easily with public transportation, the bus station is near to the port and they have very clear schedules, the buses leave on time and you can pay by card for the tickets. Parikia is a good place to begin your travels of Paros. it is a convenient location to base yourself in as there is a bus terminal that allows you to take a short ride to Naoussa and surrounding areas. Overall, we preffered the small village of Aliki for a longer stay, as it was quiter and had a more relaxing vibe. The beaches in Parikia were not overly special, and I would not advise staying here if you desire luxury scenery. If you wish to visit the nicer beaches, definitely hire an ATV. Parikia used to be the black sheep of the family concerning Paros villages. Eveyone told me that Naoussa is the best place to be. I beg to differ. Paros has come under a big progress restaurant wise and is one of the few greek islands where you can have so many options in dining, especially italian. The only thing missing from Parikia is a bar or club where people can dance all night. It's the puzzle piece that will complete the upgrade.

You wont find a decent restaurant even tho there are numerous ones to choose from .......... I have been to numerous locations in Greece and so i can speak from experience. They helped us arrange our rental car and our excursions. Rooms were simple, but very clean, quiet and pleasant. Comfortable beds. The pool was lovely to come home to after a day out and about. The location was perfect for us . . . removed from the noise and busyness of Parikia, but close enough to walk to for dinner. I would highly recommend staying here if you are looking for a beautiful, peaceful, relaxing, and friendly place to stay on Paros.

We recommend this hotel and would definitely come back and stay with them again.
