ColombiaI felt very welcome by Lina and Yvan! I am travelling alone and safety is a priority and I like the all-women dormitory. It is in a nice neighbourhood near a pedestrian street with lots of restaurants. There is also a delicious restaurant on the first floor and the staff were super nice and the prices were very decent.

IsraelThe rooms are clean and the common area is cozy and has nice varied seating to relax in. The staff is really friendly and helps with questions about the city, and in my case, car rental. The neighbouring/partner café that is directly (internally) connected to the hostel has an amazing food menu for a reasonable price, this provides way better dishes than the common "bread, spread, fruit and yoghurt" options you see in many places. Shower and toilets are located in the hallway where the dorms are. This means you won't wake up your roommates (or be waken up by them) in the morning or evening when they shower, but you will have to leave your room for a few seconds to reach (I personally appreciate this setup).
