Kavala is a great Aegean port town, not too little, not too big. It offers an amazing value for travelers since it has great bars, cafes and restaurants at a very reasonable price. It has something for everyone, history, culture, shopping, cuisine. There are some luxury places and some cheap (yet very good) places. In the summer also offers easily accessible beaches.

A great city!
A great city! The old town is beautiful and the views of the city are amazing! The center is easily walkable and the shops combine both big chains as well as small local shops, so everyone can find what they are looking for. There are a myriad of options for coffee or food. We had the best fish in Kavala!
Lastly, the beaches were by far the best in Northern Greece, with fine sand and crystal clear waters! All in all, it is definitely worth a visit!

Though we didn't stay long we really enjoyed our time there. We enjoyed the stroll from the Port to Vrahakia and visited the Acropolis with a great view of the city - worth the hike to get up there!

Great historic sites, beaches and Greek restaurants with authentic food and local wine options. The city is busy and parking can be an issue but if you are happy to walk and sightsee and immerse yourself in the culture, it is a fantastic spot!

A beautiful city with picturesque town planning.
A beautiful city with picturesque town planning. An interesting piece of history. Variety of shops, delicious food, fresh seafood. Fresh fruits and vegetables. Every Saturday there is a large market in the city with agricultural products of producers from the region.
Parking problems. Not enough parking spaces. There are only three paid parking lots in the central part. One of them is by the port, which is quite far from the city center.
We had had a great time in PomeGranate Suites!
The apartment is of 2 levels and the roof is really high. So you have plenty of space. I'd say this place has his own vibe and soul. It is even better than you can see on the photos.
The apartment is well equipped: you have hairdryer, iron, dishes, kettle, coffee machine and even waffle-iron, modern TV, towels etc.
The host was very friendly and met us ~ 11 p.m. as we arrived late.
Definitely recommend this cozy and warm place to stay in Kavala!
This was the best apartment that we stayed in so far, in Greece. Very clean, modern and with a very nice view. Pur apartment had also a big balcony/terrace which was organized like a room. Perfect for adults or families with bigger children. Close to the beach and one of the best taverns in Kavala, and why not, in Greece(Τα Μπατζανάκια). The beach was also nice, with orange sand and clear waters.
The host was also very professional and well prepared, which was a nice surprise.
The location of the house is superb, it's fully equipped with everything you need, spotlessly clean rooms. Tavernas and shops are nearby at a walking distance. The host is super friendly and answers all your requests. He recommended us the best taverna! The balcony is just above the sea and the view..... the view is just breathtaking!
It's definitely one of the best places we've been in Greece. I highly recommend it.
Thanks so much for the hospitality!
We started and ended our trip to Greece in Sea Breeze and we were so happy to stay a second time. Our host’s motto is ‘Come as a guest & leave as a friend’ is a reality with Makis. He is a wonderful model of Greek hospitality. The apartment has everything needed for a comfortable long or short term stay. Nicely decorated and very clean. Plenty of room for a family with kids and a full kitchen to prepare meals. We highly recommend this apartment!
A perfectly beautiful location with a peaceful and inspiring view of Kavala city. The reception was so caring and kind, the hotel has the professionalism of a long running establishment, and a friendly hospitality of a family welcome. I will definitely stay here any chance I come to Kavala. The birds, fresh air and green and blue sea view in the morning made us feel connected to nature, while being so close to Kavala.
The apartment is small and cosy, perfect for a couple. Yes it is in the center of Kavala, right next to tavernas but in space is well isolated and there is air conditioning provided. It's beautiful to wake up next to locals every day, which are really friendly and feels safer because of them. The place is very clean, the host is very implicated and I think this is one of the best places to stay in Kavala.
I would highly recommend to book this apartment if you are visiting Kavala. Perfect host which is always happy to help and give you guides starting from local restaurants, beach ect you should visit. Also apartment is fully equipped with beautiful sea view,Netflix to enjoy movie night with your loved one and many more. Once again THANK YOU MR DIMITRIS!
Best regards,
Jasna and Nikola
very clean room, I was in more than 70 different accommodations in Greece last 3 decades, this was one of the cleanest. Very good sleeping, no noise during the night. Church bells wakes me each morning, what I liked a lot. Always free parking on the street. Perfect accommodation for single travelers in Kavala, especially for those who come by car.
The Anthemion Team were fantastic! We had problems with the car whilst travelling to Greece, which meant we had to change booking times. They were very accommodating and supportive. Perfect communication with them in English. Room was fantastic as well. Would definitely stay again.
It might be the best place to stay in Kavala. We enjoyed it a lot. Beds were very comfortable, so we slept very well. They have free parking next to the hotel which is important. Breakfast was nice and plentiful.
the view of the room we stayed was great. The hotel is in downtown Kavala so you dont need to use your car at night to go to restaurants/bars. The lady in reception was very helpful and nice.
The staff was very friendly and helpful, she recommended the best restaurants nearby. The hotel is at the heart of the city center. If we go to Kavala again, we will definitely stay there.
Beautiful renovation ultra modern fit out.
Fast wi fi. Powerful air con. Quiet street but in the city centre
Super clean.
Best apartment in Greece and we stayed in plenty.
Quiet and clean. Lovely staff and great location. We easily walked to the castle from the hotel and it’s location next to the old port was great for dinner.
