Amazing location 1 minute or so walk from the beach down a staircase or accessible via road. Very large terrace with beautiful view across the bay. Hosts very friendly. Highly recommended.

The hosts were considerate and we had all we needed including a free bottle of wine! The location was perfect with a full view of the bay. Down the steps, across the road on we were on the beach. Ideal for an early morning swim. We took the paddle boards and didn't use the hire car once as were were able to get to all the remote beaches and caves. It is a beautiful village and a beautiful bay and we didn't want to leave.

Die Vermieter sind so nett und hilfsbereit. Zur Begrüßung gab es selbst gebackener Kuchen, eine Flasche Wein, eine Flasche Wasser und Fruchtsaft. Auch Süßigkeiten sind bereit. Es werden oft Handtücher und Bettwäsche gewechselt, sowie immer Toilettenpapier zur Verfügung gestellt. Das habe ich bei Ferienwohnungen noch nie erlebt. Wir bekamen sogar ein selbst gekochtes, leckeres Mittagessen. Die Terrasse ist sehr groß und die Aussicht unschlagbar. Die beste Unterkunft und die nettesten Vermieter die ich je erlebt habe. Es waren zwei traumhafte Wochen. Vielen Dank.

Traumhafte Lage am Hang mit einem wunderschönen Blick auf den Hafen und die Bucht von Asos. Alles im Ort in ein paar Minuten zu Fuss erreichbar, sehr schöne Tavernen, kleine Läden und 2 kleine Supermärkte. Großzügige EG Wohnung in einem 2 Fam. Haus mit 2 Schlafzimmern, Bad,Küche, Ess- Wohnraum, top ausgestattet, einer große Terrasse mit Sitzecke, Esstisch und 4 Liegestühlen und Traumblick ! Sehr herzlicher Empfang mit selbstgebackenem Kuchen, Wein, Wasser und Saft und einem kleinen Gastgeschenk durch die äußerst liebenswerten Vermieter, die obendrüber wohnen.

Super schöne große Terrasse mit 4 Liegestühlen, zwei großen Sonnenschirmen und von der Lage schwer zu toppen. Ist schnell am Strand und wieder zurück in der Wohnung zum abduschen. Super freundliche Eigentümer wohnen im Obergeschoss und sind sogar losgezogen um uns Rosmarin zu pflücken für unser Essen. Jederzeit wieder.

The building is only 50 meters from the beach offering high-quality holidays. The villa consists of two air-conditioned bedrooms, the one with a double bed and the other with two single beds. There is a spacious living room and fully equipped kitchen area. An inviting sofa in the living room can also be used as a double bed. From the 150 m² veranda you can enjoy the sea view of Assos bay as well as the imposing Venetian castle.
Assos is situated in an enchanting site on the northwest coast of Kefalonia. It is a traditional Venetian-style fishing village, a perfect holiday destination for those who seek peace and quiet. The magical view from the castle is unforgettable, not to mention the peaceful and charming little harbour which delights the visitor. Assos with its rich history, amazing beauty and calmness is an ideal holiday destination, only 25 minutes by car from Aghia Efimia, 20 minutes from the famous beach of Mirtos, 20-25 from the cosmopolitan Fiskardo and about 1 hour from Argostoli. Its history dates back before 1584 when during the Venetian domination, Assos was the capital of the northern part of the island. The castle on top of the hill was built to offer protection against the pirate attacks. Before the earthquake in 1953, the castle was used as a prison. During the earthquake the village was devastated and all houses were destroyed, apart from very few including Dionos Villa, which was renovated and refurbished in 2006.
