What was not to like. The whole experience was just too good. Excelent customer care, great accommodation, sparkling clean (and during our 10 day the house was cleaned twice), i especially enjoyed the gym, the pool area, the view. Their recommendations about everything were spot on!

    Dear Karen, Closest beach, Rethymno Beach: 6 km, Mini market: 1 km, Bakery: 1.5 km, Butcher: 2 km, Fresh fish: 3 km, Pharmacy: 2 km, Tavern in Gallos Village: 1 km. For better exploring I would suggest hiring a car, we can also help arrange taxi.

My name is Kostas Vasilakis and I have studied marketing and business management. Already being an owner of two successful villas and co-owner of a well known web development company in Greece, I started to manage other vacation rentals as well. Property information

This three-storey villa can accommodate 10 people in beds and maximum 12 people. Stairs lead you up to the front door and on entrance to the villa there is a spacious open plan area consisting of the living room with a fireplace, a home cinema, the indoor dining area and access to the main balcony. Also on this floor there is a fully equipped kitchen two bedrooms with double beds and a bathroom with shower. The first floor is reached by a wooden staircase. Here lies the master bedroom which has a double bed, an en-suite bathroom, a walk in wardrobe and an exit to an enormous veranda. A bedroom with two single beds is also found on this floor. On the lower floor of the villa you will find the laundry room, the gym-playroom area and one bedroom with a double bed and an en-suite bathroom with shower. The gym area includes one bathroom with shower and many fitness equipment. In the gym area there is also a children's playroom with a 40” HDTV, a Playstation 4 and board games. With almost 1,000 sq.m covered with grass around the pool area and 1,000 sq.m more of vegetables, fruit trees and flowers the garden is a real treat. The swimming pool also has a pool alarm for child safety.

Neighbourhood information

The villa is located on the outskirts of Rethymno town in a totally private area, near the small village of Gallos and the University of Crete. The surrounding area is rural and peaceful. Situated next to a small gorge it is often possible to sight wild birds such as eagles which glide through the gorge and pheasants that wander in the nearby fields. This is what makes Villa Victoria special and even though the town is close by you will rest peacefully and still feel “away from it all”! A stroll or a jog along your own private lane and the neighbouring roads are a great way to start your day and with such beautiful surroundings you are sure to refresh and re-energise. Just a little further on it is possible to reach the old part of Gallos village and experience its rustic charm. The newer part of Gallos hosts 2 mini markets and a great traditional tavern. Also, an organized tennis court is located just 600 meters away. More shops, are only a couple of minutes away by car (3 km) in the Koumpes area at the entrance of Rethymno town. Koumpes also has the closest sandy beach to the villa, however the more organized cosmopolitan beach of Rethymno is only 5 km away.
