Through a journey that started in 2001, Oreo Travel was founded by Stratos Beretis, an experienced member of the Greek Tourism Industry, a Graduate of the Department of Economics of the University of Crete and a Master Degree Holder in Tourism Business Management. Having passed through several management positions, he was won over by the occupation with tailor made tourism services and especially in inbound tourism in villas, independent properties, country houses and small holiday rental units. Oreo Travel started as a representative of global tour operators and continues to this day with an ever-growing network of partners and properties in Crete, Peloponnese and Athens, in line with the new promotional and managing methods. Our goal at Oreo Travel is to promote the properties we partner with in the best way possible, by solely operating as a booking agent on behalf of our partner-property owners, whom we advise and guide in providing high standards of hospitality for their guests, in accordance with the regulations and the laws that govern the accommodation industry. Furthermore, we are constantly available for our guests to answer questions, solve potential problems that may arise while booking or staying in and to recommend services that may be needed to facilitate their stay and maximize their travel experience (car rental, transportation, tours, excursions and concierge services). Iris Villa is a 240 sq.m. two-floor comfortable fully equipped villa, full of light, in a beautiful countryside among olive groves and just 4km from a beautiful sandy beach. The spacious living room is fully furnished with large sofas, armchair, fireplace, flat TV set, and sophisticated decoration and is connected to the dining area with a large dining table. There are three comfortable bedrooms one with a double bed, two with twin beds and an office room with a sofa that can be turned to a semi-double bed. The three bedrooms have access to large balconies and have individually controlled A/C units while the office room has a fan. The kitchen is big and fully equipped with possible appliances and also there is a breakfast table. An internal marble staircase leads up to the first floor. There is one bathroom on the ground floor and two more on the first floor. The exterior shaded areas and verandas are furnished the exterior furniture for many relaxing hours in front of the beautiful garden and the lawn area. There is WiFi coverage throughout the villa and there is a 28 sq.m. swimming pool with sunbeds and umbrellas around.

Prines is a traditional village with many permanent residents living throughout the year. It is 7 kilometres from the city of Rethymno and only 2 kilometres from the village of Atsipopoulou which has tavernas, supermarkets, bakeries and all necessary amenities. Rethymno beach is 8 kilometres and so is Gerani Beach. Prines is an ideal location for excursions around the island.
