We loved everything. The location is perfect, just above a lovely sandy beach with its own island. The huge private terrace is surrounded by flowers and has a breathtaking westerly view. The apartment is clean, well kept and very spacious. There is lots to do in the area and Chania is full of friendly bars, excellent restaurants and interesting shops.

The Sunset Villa is a wonderful place and Efi and Spyros are fantastic hosts. They're really helpful and super kind. They were waiting for us when we arrived. We were surprised, because the refrigerator was not empty. We found some meal, fruits, mineral water and 2 bottles of wine. It was very nice of them. The Villa was better then in the pictures: huge spaces: well-equipped kitchen with dining room and living room. 3 rooms and 2 bathrooms. They provided 3 towels / person for us, it was very comfortable for us. On the terrace there were many sun-beds, chairs, so it's comfortable too. There was everything that we needed. :) The view is breathtaking from the terrace. Watching the sunset from there is wonderful. The Kalathas Beach is really close (10 min by foot), you have to go on the road. It was a little bit scary on the first day, mainly with children. Luckily, the cars were careful. So the Sunset Villa is an absolutely recommended place. We loved it!

Apart from good location for exploring the west and everything you can see in the pictures - it was all the many little things, well thought through, that made our stay so enjoyable - basic food and drinks in the fridge, fruits and coffe/tea, detergents for both washmachine and dishwasher, elementary cosmetics, lunch boxes for our trips, paper towels, alu foil…it felt like coming to your own fully equipped summer house. AND the owners - friendly, knowledgeable and super helpful. And our kids loved Lucy, the house cat:) Thank you for contributing to our great vacation!

Excellent view, big terrace, all the amenities you need in the kitchen. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful, lovely people to talk to, got a lot of great advice regarding the island. The villa has all the amenities you would need and as a bonus the terrace is very pretty, with many flowers and gives you a very nice feeling, perfect for enjoying both a morning coffee and an evening drink. The beach is close by and nothing can beat that amazing view. Would definitely come here again.

We had a wonderful stay at the Sunset Villa. The house located very close to the beach and you have a beautiful view over the sea and sunset! The hosts, Efi & Spiros, are the best! What a lovely couple. Upon arrival we received some food & beverages for the evening and morning!
