KATKA is the perfect house to enjoy your time in Kithira. It has everything you need for a relaxing stay with beautiful surroundings and distant sea views.
Neighborhood info
Karavas is located in the northern part of the island, just after the village of Potamos. Architecture is the village’s strong point: beautiful buildings and houses of a distinct identity. The locals are proud of the collective activity they have developed; the local association “Portokalia”, named after the village’s sacred tree (orange tree), organizes many significant cultural events, mainly in the summer. The famous Karavas bakery is directly across the road for all your breakfast needs including Tea & Coffee and is open until late in the evening. Lemonokipos which is a typical greek restaurant is about 500m away where you will get a warm welcome with excellent food and wonderful views. Also within walking distance is Amir Ali springs with all kinds of natural beauty (make sure you look out for the ducks). Amir Ali restaurant is right next to the springs and is well worth a visit.
Platia Ammos beach is about 3km from Karavas, Agia Peligia is about 5km where you will find both organized and unorganized beaches with lots of coffee shops and restaurants.
