GermaniaI would highly recommend staying at Lykomides Rooms. Soula is a charming host. She will immediately make you feel at home and will help with practical arrangements such as car hire and taxi transfers. The rooms are immaculately clean and have everything you need. The hotel is within a few steps of a range of good restaurants, the port is relaxed and peaceful place to stay. There is a pleasant sandy beach within 1km and you can swim at the bar on the opposite side of the harbour. The water is superbly clear. There is a dive centre nearby, again I would recommend them. Hiring a car is worthwhile as the island is beautiful and the roads are virtually empty. There is plenty to do in the area to make lykomides rooms your base. Thank you Soula for a lovely stay.

Sula is a perfect and friendly owner, always smiling, available and ready to support you with suggestions and useful tips. Skyros is a beautiful island and Lykomides is the right place to stay. Below the balconies the picturesque and clean crescent Linaria Port lies which is part of the large protected bay of St. Nicholas. In that bay there are the nearby beaches, Kaladi, Acherounes, Kalamitsa, Kalogeri and Diapori, most of them easily accessible. If you hold a privately owned boat, you can supervise it at the position that you will have moored it at the port from your room and sleep soundly planning the next trip. The rooms represent a traditional family business that aims to create a warm atmosphere, offering discreet yet not impersonal hospitality to residents. At the reception you can find information about the island, activities and attractions. We are always willing to recommend you with pleasure whatever is going to improve your mood and make your holidays unforgettable.
Hello! My name is Soula, i am from Skyros island and a very happy person - my moto is Carpe Diem! Also, i really enjoy traveling to other destinations, swimming in clear seas, cooking, hiking and sailing, among others. I trully love my island, and meeting new people is what really motivates me to run this establishment for the last 20 years, with the same enthusiasm and love.
The apartment is located in the main harbor of Skyros, Linaria, which is a small one but with a lot of character. It also acts as the tourist marina, so the scenery is constantly changing between traditional fishing vessels, big yaghts and smaller sail boats. Linaria is one of the most organised and clean ports in Greece, an everlasting effort that has been rewarded in the past few years threw various awards. Most time during the day is fairly quiet and relaxing, and by night i transforms into a beuatiful walkabout, with the submerged lights giving a special aura, and open theater plays or movie screenings that take place during the summertime. Daily boat cruises depart in the morning and take you a tour around the hidden beuaties of the island. While at the port, here are many options regarding eating some local specialties, drinking some ouzo by the sea or shopping from the local groceries store. Also, free parking space is available for your car and your trailer as well.
