Marathi Oasis Villa is situated in the heart of Marathi Beach. Marathi is a seaside, coastal area just 8 km far from Chania airport and 17 km from Chania city center. You may find lots of sightseeing in a near distance such as "Venizelos Graves", famous beaches like Seitan Limania, Stavros Beach where Greek "syrtaki" traveled around the world through the movie "Zorbas", historical monasteries at Akrotiri peninsula and in particular "Agia Triada" and "Gouverneto monastery with the cave of Saint John" From a historical point of view, Marathi is an archaeological site known as " Little Minoa Palace" or "Ancient Minoa". On a tour in Marathi you will come across to ancient baths and buildings and the beach side there is still a part of a semi-circular wall that once was cοvered by the sea. Withal, nowadays Marathi is a popular destination for the clean and wonderful beaches, for the water activities such as diving, canoeing, water bikes, sup, the restaurants and taverns of top quality.
