Pythagorion is in south of Samos.
Pythagorion is in south of Samos. So it has very important issue to keep in mind. The winds in Aegean sea mostly are northern wind , it may be pleasent at high seasons but sometimes it is boring to have waves all the time. Since we live in around Aegean sea our preference is always south costs where south wind is seldom and nice breeze from north.SolenTurkey - 10Scored 10

Architecture is typical of Aegean. Main street is closed to traffic after noon time. There are lots of cafe and restaurant alternatives in town. Free car parking is availlable. There was no place to performs greek music or sirtaki dance.ALITurkey - 10Scored 10

We were only visiting Samos as it was the only way to visit Patmos. However we so enjoyed our stay that we were grateful that we had the chance to spend a bit of time on the island. We hope to return for a longer visit.

Pythagoreio is a lovely waterfront village with beautiful shops...a classy feel instead of the all too-common endless t-shirt and cheap souvenirs. Lots of restaurants, historic ruins, a beach, a marina...and true charm. And only a few minutes from the airport. Just in the most historical place and next to airport. Very good and warm to be and swimming even in the end of September. P.S. I had some special requests on the kitchen cause of my stomach problem during the vacation and they just saved my vacation. Literally boiled food for my special needs. It was priceless!

If one day it happens that you I come back to Samos, I would love to stay in this hotel again.

If you want a modern hotel with top rate facilities, dont come here but if you want to discuss Greek history, literature and music with George, its the place for you. And two minutes from the (pebbly) beach
