Welcome to our village retreat! Some important information before your arrival : Our house : 1)is FAR FROM TOWN so you will need a CAR or take the BUS which runs about 5 times a day. 2)has NO INTERNET so you can truly disconnect and relax. HOW TO ENTER THE HOUSE: The retreat operates with SELF-CHECK IN. The keys will be in a box next to the door.The code will be given to you right before your arrival . When you check-out please leave the key back in box and close it. Interesting facts about the house: The access Our tiny house is build on the rocky surface of the mountain of Skado and is a small renovated part of the old large family house belonging to my great great grandfather.The ruins dating back to 1800 ,are visible everywhere around it. It is a very bright and quiet retreat .It has two entrances and one terrace always bathed in the sunlight . The interior was renovated by hand by me and my parents .We used Naxian marble and olive tree wood. Not only the house is tiny ,but also the village .The picturesque village of Skado has no more than 100 inhabitants,one tavern ,one school ,and a church . You can find a small market ,bakery etc at the villages Koronis and Koronos nearby . From Skado you can set off to great hikes around the mountains ,visit the countless olive groves or explore some of the islands most beautiful beaches . You can take the bus or rent a car .The bus leaves you 1 minute walking distance from the house and there’s also plenty of room to park everywhere around the house.
