Thessaloniki is a city steeped in history. If you’re a history enthusiast, this town won’t disappoint. Moreover, the restaurants here are fantastic. Some of them truly stand out, particularly when it comes to seafood—the kind that happens to be my personal favorite. The nightlife is vibrant as well. And last but not least, during my visit, I felt both safe and pleasantly at ease.

There was a lot more to see and do than we had originally thought. Easy to get around on foot - although there are a lot of busses we couldn't find the one we wanted. The arrival of two very large cruise ships caused havoc at the key tourist sites (grid locked coaches, lots of queueing) but easy to avoid if you are able to go back another day or later in the evening.

Great museums, except one (the museum of ancient musical instruments) was closed for good, despite being listed live on the internet. Lots of good restaurants, price range excellent. I walked everywhere as I am a keen walker, and enjoyed looking at the various ancient remains, mostly from the Roman period. The old town up on the hill, with its narrow, steep streets, very interesting and pretty.

+ The hotel is located in a very quiet and green area of Thessaloniki, very close to the airport, but far from the city center.
+ The rooms are huge (even the smallest ones), seem recently renovated and are well equiped.
+ The view from our room was pretty much 100% nature, which was very relaxing.
+ Beds are huge also and very comfortable. We really enjoyed our sleep.
+ Staff was super friendly and accomodating.
+ Free shuttle bus to/from the airport was a big bonus.
An excellent 5 stars boutique hotel, located near the town center.
The staff were very friendly and helping.
Breakfast choices were wonderful.
I would like to mention Ilias from the reservation desk who helped us resolving a dispute and upgraded us to a higher class room.
Perfect apartment in an excellent location. Also the 4 Travellers team (Caravan hotel) were extremely kind and really helpful! Very well done and looking forward booking the same on my next visit to Thessaloniki. Will definitely recommend.
The property looks very appealing from the outside! Inside is is also nice, but I wouldn’t give it 5 stars if I was comparing it to some of the 5 star hotels in Australia. The parking was convenient. The breakfast had a good variety.
