Rooms are very clean. Staff was friendly and helpful with all the answers to our questions. Otel is very close to beach, center and historic locations. Breakfast is selection of cheeses, salads, boiled eggs etc, nothing fancy but good.

SlovakiaLovely little hotel, albeit old fashioned but I wouldn’t have it any other way! It brought back all my childhood memories of holidays in Greece. A very good location, great views from the balcony with all those Mediterranean pine trees and sounds of crickets at night. Amazingly friendly and helpful staff at the reception. What more could one ask for?

HungaryExcellent simple traditional hotel close to the centre of Kos town but quiet at night. I reckon the simplicity and humane friendly service is worth more than multi star spots round the corner. A good basic stopover for ferry hopping or yachties. Would be lovely with kids too as it's a short walk to the beach but not a sausage and chips seaside joint. A bit 1980s and all the better for it. We stayed one night and (against all expectations) would have happily stayed longer.
