The main island town with a great waterfront and lanes. It has two fishmongers, bakeries, butchers and supermarkets. Plenty of bars and restaurants. A very pleasant place to be at for a couple of weeks. We walked a lot whilst there and recommend other visitors to do the same.

Gaios is not the traditional "chora" you meet in other Greek islands. There are no proper roads and enough parking. It is like they are not prepared for tourism over there. The authorities there must really provide safer, wider roads and better parking. The center of Gaios has a private parking with rates that don't even exist in the center of Athens (3 euros/hour). If you are not a tourist owning a big boat you are not really welcome there.
Also it is extremely expensive for unknown reasons. Dining is poor overall, the restaurants are of medium quality and unreasonably expensive. In example, a family of four would need at least 120 euros per meal.

Extremely beautiful town! It is a treat for your eyes!
Extremely beautiful town! It is a treat for your eyes! You will see building of nice old architecture next to a beautiful sea with the most clear waters you have ever seen and then the green of trees that reach almost the shore!
Lot's of nice places for food (do try breakfast at "Kalimera" and dinner at "Mambo"), drinks (awesome scenery at "Porto Vecchio") and the best ice-cream ever at "Il-Capricio"!

I didn't go to Gaios many times so my opinion cannot be very reliable but from the few times I did, I didn't like it very much. I prefer Loggos more.
Regarding restaurants we just had souvlaki in Gaios ( George's corner I think was good enough for it). We prefered to go to other villages for dinner or lunch.

Perfect spot, stay near the town so you do not need transport. There are lots of excellent bars and restaurants around both in the square and alleys but best overlooking the harbour people watching. A day trip to Antipaxos is recommended. Reminded us of what Corfu was like 30 years ago, very friendly and we will be going back sooner rather than later.

We had 3 full days and 2 nights.
We had 3 full days and 2 nights. I wuold recommend another 1-2 days. We should have spent more time in Logos. Its a beautiful tiny local harbour with excellent food and beach approx 5 min walk from the harbour. Village of Lakka is only a 15min drive/ taxi or bus. We should have spent another day there. Note that we found no beaches with sunloungers, so be prepared to sit on ground. There is a new port and an old port, walking distance between the two aong the water. Dont walk the road like we did. And Gaios Port is great for eating / drinking and shopping. Only 5 taxis on the island. The Taxi stop is the same as the Bus stop in Gaios. Take a card from one of the taxi drivers and make your arrangements with him to drop off and pick up over the course of your visit. We found Nikos to be very reliable.
Wonderful place. The villas are extremely well equipped, you will find all you need for a comfortable stay. Everything is very clean and organized. The villas are located in the southern part of Paxos, a few minutes away from the main town by scooter or car, in a very calm area. There is a small beach and a nice restaurant/bar nearby, both easily reachable by foot. The breakfast is very good and the swimming pool area is beautiful. The host, Vali, is extremely helpful and communicative. Overall, this was a fantastic experience.
We had an excellent holiday in Paxos, and Casa di Sebastian was really a great choice. The room was spacious, clean, the bad was comfy the bathroom very nice. You could see the good quality of the pillows, towels, etc. There is also a kitchenet available where you can easily make your breakfast. The dinning area was amazing, with a very nice view. Ianis was a very nice host, and he has great collaborators (Hara) that really made our stay even nicer by recommending nice beaches, places to eat, etc.
If you are traveling to Paxos, you're not looking for a standard hotel. You're looking for a place to relax, swim, snorkle, take a boat ride, explore the island, etc. This place is the perfect spot to do all that. There are a couple of places nearby where you can access the beach. The owner arranged a rental boat for us to explore the rest of the Island and Anti-Paxos. We couldn't have asked for more, it was our favorite spot to stay during our Greece roadtrip!
Nicola’s apartment is cute and quirky and in the best location! So close to everything, shops, bakery, cafes and restaurants. The apartment is clean, spacious and has everything you need! I loved the outdoor space. The nearest beach is less than 10 minutes walk. It’s the perfect place to stay in beautiful Paxos! Carmen was so helpful and lovely. I would come back here in a heart beat. Thank you Carmen.
We loved Paxos. The accommodation is very nice, clean and the location is great. Walking distance from centre Gaios. And within an even shorter a great restaurant. Eva the host of the location was great and super helpful if you have any questions. She has some very good recommendations for renting a boat or taking a taxi. would recommend it to everyone.
Comfortable with everything you need and extras in studio you don’t always expect such as iron and sun umbrellas.
Host was very helpful , picking us up from port and being very kind in printing out documents for us just before we left.
Would definately recommend as peaceful area and easy to get to restaurants etc in Gaios. Would stay again.
Super helpful hosts, gave lots of info about the area and recommendations.
Nice studio with a beautiful view from the balcony.
Walking distance to beaches (10min) and Gaios town (15-20min) (however steep hill to the beach and the shortcut to Gaios town is not well lit at night; having a car or moped to explore Paxos fully would be good!
This accommodation is perfect for enjoying lovely Gaios. It is at the quiet end of town with wonderful views of the water and town. Everything is clean and very well maintained and it has all you need to enjoy a holiday. The host and staff are very friendly and helpful with local information and suggestions. We would definitely return.
Lovely lovely place to stay! decorated so pretty and everything with the highest quality there is. Comfy bed! lovely patio! clean and with all the necessities!
Great location in Gaios, close to everything, vibrant place with great restaurants!
Pavlos and Lilly are so nice and kind and welcoming, made our stay even better!
Kostas and his family were so kind and made us feel very at home - even offering to pick us up from the ferry port when we arrived on Paxos. It's such a beautiful place and sharing with only two other rooms made it feel very exclusive when using the facilities such as the pool and BBQ.
Great apartment with two double bedrooms in the heart of Gaios with views up and down the harbour. Excellent communication and reliable! friendly host with a wealth of knowledge and advice for your stay in Paxos.
Well equipped and spacious kitchen.
excellent air conditioning.
Big villa with a beautiful view overlooking Paxos. The property is quite large with a big living room, balcony and multiple bedrooms. The pool is fantastic and well maintained. We never felt cramped and there are bathrooms for every room which is really nice.
The apartment was clean, confortable, in a very convinient location and had a wonderful balcony view. Stelios is very friendly and gave us a quick intro and helpful tips for our jurney in Paxos. Definitively will came back again.
The breakfast was really excellent. The location is very near to Gaios and the port. I had my car and transportation wasn’t a matter at all. The room was clean and very comfortable. I was really satisfied with the supplies.
I was not able to stay here because you have to catch
a ferry in order to get to Paxos island and since the last
ferry left at 1530 and check into ferry is 1430 I was not
able to get out to this rental.
Amazing, Irene went went above and beyond for us.
Last minute bookings, helping us find tickets from paxos to corfu and also finding us a boat to rent.
Truely amazing service and a beautiful person
Super friendly and helpful staff. Really nice patio overlooking the water. About a 25-30 min walk to the center of Gaios. Shuttle available from the ferry port to the hotel for a reasonable fee.
We had the best stay at villa paxos, the owners were so so lovely and accommodating! The property was so central, we could walk everywhere and the facilities were excellent. Would recommend!!
