First of all, the cave/ room is AMAZING, you just feel you are part of a sci-fi movie. If you are looking to relax and be chill, this is the PERFECT place. You won’t hear a noise and the beaches are really close by which they couldn’t be more beautiful. The town where the caves are located is really local and inexpensive. So if you want to have some real Greek town experience, this is the perfect place. Also I visited in October and weather was perfect for the cave.

Stavros is a great host, he helped me organize a ship cruise and gave me many useful tips. Also it was so easy and fast to communicate with him. As to the place, you can see venetian castle and sunrise from the terrace. The "cave" is nice and tidy, small kitchen actually equip with all you can think of.

We had a wonderful stay. The cave apartment is very cozy, the bed is big and comfortable. The terrace has a beautiful view (although you can’t see a sunset directly) There is Netflix. We liked the location: Akrotiri is a relaxing village with a few cute streets, good eating options and «Greek Pompei» archeological site nearby. You can park your rented car close to the apartment. We had great communication with hosts Stavros and Andreas and got many excellent recommendations for places to visit and to have dinner.

The apartment is very particular but beautiful and there is all you need for a short period stay. The bed is very comfortable. The Caldera view is wonderful 😃👍🏻 The connection with Stavros was perfect.

We really enjoyed our stay at Stavros’ place! The room is a ‘cave’, a typical architecture style found in Santorini. It’s big and spacious and has a lovely terrace with Caldera views. Stavros was an amazing host, communication was great both during check in and check out and he really made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Akrotiri is a quiet little village in Santorini, perfect if you want to avoid the crowds!

SantoCaves are 3 traditional Cave houses of Santorini where they were builded around 1900's and totally renovated in 2009. 2019 is the year that the Caves started to be rentals so they have changed and transformed for our guests always keeping the tradiotional form and architecture.Guests will have the opportunity to actually live in a real Cave covered with geothermical energy that keeps winter and summer the same temperature and makes it eco friendly to the enviromment. Each Cave has a King Size 'Seally' Mattress on a handmade concrete bed,kitchenette with dinner table,private shower,balcony facing to the outstanding Caldera View,Flat 32' inces smart Tv with Netflix and dehumidifiers.
Born and raised in Athens and operating in Santorini the last 11 years.I studied Hotel Managment and Business of Hospitality because meeting people and offering my help to enjoy the island is a moment of great happiness! Santorini is a very unique and magnificent island that compares the beauty of the water combined with the Caldera of Island. I like both of these elements and that makes me have as a hobbie Scuba Diving and Hikking on the Isnland s paths. I m here to share with the guests my experience on the island and all the hidden beauties.
SantoCaves are located above Akrotiri s Castle and are based in a very quiet and traditional neigborhood. We are in only 5 minutes walk from the Center of the Village where shops and restaurants are. Bus and taxis stop also there and there is a public area around the Caves to park the rental vehicles. The Ancient Akrotiri Excavations is in only 1.2 km from the property and the famous Red Beach in about 1.7 km. Guests will be generally informed for all the activities and excursions on the island when they arrive for check in.
