Pool is amazing. Wonderful interiors with lots of personality. Great for a big group. We were a family and extended family of 8 and there were so many spaces to be together and chill as well.

This villa is built in colonial style at one of the best locations of the island of Lefkada and offers maximum privacy ... there is only one (almost invisible) exclusive villa next to you. The 70 meter long driveway, with a lockable monumental gate, leads to the villa and the garage. The villa stands completely free on a 7000 square meter land piece and offers panoramic views over the sea and the (Tuscany-like) valley. It has one of the largest private swimming pools in Lefkada with spacious terraces around it. The villa has a spacious living area with four bedrooms, two bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen. The master bedroom is located on the first floor and has its own bathroom, workspace and desk. The villa is surrounded with natural stone terraces. At the entrance to the olive grove is a large barbecue area with an original pizza wood oven. The swimming pool of 100 square meters with a depth of 1.5 meters to 2.6 meters has a real diving board. So you can really dive safely into the pool (no private pools in Lefkada have a diving board). The pool is surrounded by spacious terraces and is ONLY visible from the villa.
Jan is a retired entrepreneur and Liudmila was a Doctor of Philosophy. We both love the Greek culture, the people, the landscape and the climate. The last years we rent the villa -while staying ourselves in the guesthouse- during the summer. The guesthouse is completely invisible from the villa and lays about 50 meter away.
The villa is situated on a cul-de-sac road from Ligia to the small village of Katouna/Lygia. From the villa you can make beautiful walks or bike rides through the mountains or to the sea. The beaches and the surrounding islands of Lefkada are world famous and are part of the European Natura 2000 area. Seven beaches have been voted the most beautiful and cleanest (Blue Flag) beaches in Greece. Skorpio is the best known of the islands. Here Onassis celebrated together with Maria Callas their holidays together with world-famous guests and royal families. Recently the island was sold to a well-known oligarch. Lefkada town is about 10 minutes drive away and there is the largest port, many shops and large supermarkets (e.g. Lidl). Also here is the largest marina in the Mediterranean. On Lefkada you can swim, rent a boat, dive, ride a horse, walk, to a beach party ... or - of course - relax at your own pool. Twice a day there is a bus connection with a stop at the entrance of the villa. A rental car is definitely recommended.
