The location was awesome, only 2 blocks from the old City. Plenty of wonderful restaurants and the Acropolis within walking distance. Also the apartment was very roomy and well equipped.

Location was great as it was 5 minutes walking distance from acroplis museum and other monuments .in addition lots of shops nearby. 20 mins walking from syntagma square where the high street shops are located. I would definitely recommend this location if you prefer to remain nearby.

We stay 2 times and can recommend it to anyone wanting to stay close to the Refina Port or Athens Airport. Town has the best value for Yiros and Soulavki in Greece for only €7.20 a plate.

We also thought that the host was great by accommodating us and letting us in the apartment earlier then check in so we could leave our luggage. It was a comfortable place to stay especially with children. The area was quiet and within walking distance of many restaurants and little markets.

GreeceDie große Wohnung liegt für kultur- und geschichtsinteressierte Athen-Reisende ausgesprochen günstig. 5 Gehminuten vom Akropolis-Museum entfernt, U-Bahn, Supermarkt etc. - alles in unmittelbarer fußläufiger Reichweite. Das Haus, also die Mitbeweohner, sind sehr ruhig, auch wenn der omnipräsente Athener Stadtlärm, wie auch anders nicht zu erwarten war, ein ständiger Begleiter darstellt. Die Küchenausstattung ist ausgesprochen umfangreich, für eine Familie mit zwei Kindern ist dies sehr wichtig, da man nicht jeden Abend teuer zum Essen gehen kann und es vielleicht auch gar nicht immer möchte. Wir konnten uns vor Ort sehr gut selbst versorgen. Der Gastgeber ist sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich.
