By far the most impressive thing about Rhodes is the castle...
By far the most impressive thing about Rhodes is the castle and the history of the area. Has to be the biggest and most grande set of fortifications any - where . I visited at the end of Feb. so no beaches. Weather is still pleasant around + 16 - +20 good temperature for hiking. I took fast ferry to Halki-one hour- walked and climbed to Castle of the Knights of St John. Took appr. 1 hr to walk - wouldn’t be fun in summer - take water. As i visited at the end of Feb. great deals on hotels, restaurants were not busy , but weather still very pleasant.Richard - 10Scored 10

Manos went out of his way to meet our every need and help us out when we felt overwhelmed by the newness of Greece. Sambica greeted us every morning with a coffee and a smile and everyone made us feel like a cherished part of the family. It was the best introduction to Greek life we could have hoped for.

Breakfast is served in the small walled courtyard, a really good choice of food and drinks. We have stayed at the Savoy several times and although the rooms are small they are quite adequate and the position of the hotel and the staff are excellent.
