Easy to reach best beaches.
Easy to reach best beaches. Too many tavernas, options, we prefer potamias to other towns. Giving a visit to bakery is a must. I recommend athos taverna/ golden beach, giorgos taverna / kirini for dinner. Also Thribas tavern on the road side for a quick lunch. Everything was exceptional in terms of accommodation, location near the beach and restaurants, all the facilities offered were at a high level, the fact that the cleaning lady came once every two days. The village is nice , not far away from Limenas Thassou and a good point to start a round trip of the island. You can visit the mountain villages Panagia and Potamia or enjoy Golden beach. Another cool option is climing the Ipsarion peak - the path starts not far away from Skala Potamia.

The accommodation was really great, I do recommend 8 Keys. The staff were friendly and very accommodating. We've had to change rooms twice during our 1 week stay (we book them like this due to availability) and the first time the delay was long, we got the new room at the normal check-in time, however the 2nd time the staff prepared the new room quickly - overall it was not too bad. The place is a bit on the pricey sife, but if you like to spend your holiday in a nice place, then it is worth it. There are great restaurants around, which was great. And you can also prepare something quick in the room if you fancy some quiet down time. What I did not like was the fact that the area was overcrowded and the beaches were too full and noisy around there. We've had to drive over 10 km to find a nice and quieter beach. And there is a bit of an issue with the parking at the property... the parking area is on a first come, first served basis...AnaRomania

Its comfortable for a family with children, everyone has their own place. Shower on each level of the room. There is a refrigerator, a kitchenette, but it isn’t needed - a market and restaurants with fresh grill fish are two minutes from the hotel. Two minutes to the beach too. There is a bonus system for hotel residents on the beach and in the restaurant.

We had a room with garden and the lack of the sea view was compensated by the acceptable temperature inside (in a period with high temperatures). The size of the room and of the bathroom is a plus and we really loved our round big bed.
