The island is big, but you can go everywhere easily with public transportation, the bus station is near to the port and they have very clear schedules, the buses leave on time and you can pay by card for the tickets. It has less tourists and the restaurants are also very good in price and quality.

Parikia is a good place to begin your travels of Paros. it is a convenient location to base yourself in as there is a bus terminal that allows you to take a short ride to Naoussa and surrounding areas. Overall, we preffered the small village of Aliki for a longer stay, as it was quiter and had a more relaxing vibe. The beaches in Parikia were not overly special, and I would not advise staying here if you desire luxury scenery. If you wish to visit the nicer beaches, definitely hire an ATV. Overall, Parikia itself has affordable food and accomodation options.

Parikia used to be the black sheep of the family concerning Paros villages. Eveyone told me that Naoussa is the best place to be. I beg to differ. Paros has come under a big progress restaurant wise and is one of the few greek islands where you can have so many options in dining, especially italian. The only thing missing from Parikia is a bar or club where people can dance all night. It's the puzzle piece that will complete the upgrade.

You wont find a decent restaurant even tho there are numerous ones to choose from .......... I have been to numerous locations in Greece and so i can speak from experience. With a constant daily supply of new customers (many doing island hopping) restaurants are being lazy and charging for having olive oil on my table says it all ....

Rent a car in advance because there are 30 taxis on the island. The bus worked well, however, they had a schedule that sometimes did not work for everybody. Restaurants in Parikia are not all not good and it depends on what are you looking for.
The best thing about the Akrotiri is the staff. They are very sweet, kind, and helpful. They helped us arrange our rental car and our excursions. Rooms were simple, but very clean, quiet and pleasant. Comfortable beds. The pool was lovely to come home to after a day out and about. The location was perfect for us . . . removed from the noise and busyness of Parikia, but close enough to walk to for dinner. I would highly recommend staying here if you are looking for a beautiful, peaceful, relaxing, and friendly place to stay on Paros.
hopping off our first ferry in Paros we were met with the welcoming smile of the owner of Stratos Studios. we were whisked into the car andoff we went on the five minute journey to the apartment. they upgraded us to a room with a sea view and went out of their way to let us know where to go, where to eat and make us welcome. the apartment was beautiful, spacious with two rooms for our 2 adults and 2 children. the Port was just 15 minutes walk away. we left Paros feeling we had been welcomed to Greece. would recommend. wonderful stay.
We had an excellent stay at the White Blossom. The location is nice and quiet and just a short walk 10 minute walk from the Parikia city center. The room is a good size and was very clean which thought was very important given current COVID times. Nicolas was very accommodative and helped us plan our visit to the island of Paros. All of his recommendations were very good and he also helped us arrange travel around the island. Overall a very good experience!
The rooms were very clean and had everything we needed for a good stay. It was lovely, we even had a table and chairs outside the room to have breakfast outside. Our particular room didn't have a view, but it was nice anyway. We had some issues with WIFI but they were fixed quickly. Katerina gave us many recommendations and useful info to move around Paros and where to eat. We recommend this hotel and would definitely come back and stay with them again.
We wanted a hotel close to the port as convenient for island hopping. The balcony, sea view and watching the ferries coming and going was excellent. Breakfast wasn't included so we ate locally. It was conveniently located to catch the local buses to explore the island. Plentiful restaurants to choose from and nearby old town to explore. The room was a good size and staff were friendly. Opposite was the station for the water taxi to Anti-Paros island.
The apartment was beautiful and very clean, and the staff cleaned it every day, changing the towel every three days.
The apartment position was very good to travel all around the island, and to reach Parikia's port/center in a few minutes on foot.
Ioannis is a very kind host, he gave us a lot of informations about Paros and he suggested the best beaches to visit and the best greek restaurant to eat.
Everything was exactly as pictured. The host was incredible, Dimitra exceeded all expectations… she offered a helping hand whenever needed, got us anything we asked for in a very timely manner and she baked us yummy goods every morning which was a fun surprise always. She kept the place clean… felt like we were at a five star hotel… would definitely recommend her home to anyone who comes to Paros!
An amazing, stunning hotel run by the kindest staff. They upgraded us for free to the best suite in the hotel, and we got the best sunset view of Paros there! The breakfast was also DELICIOUS with a large selection, the rooms were spacious and very clean, the location was great, and the pool was incredible. We highly recommend this place and will definitely return if we are ever in Paros again.
Everything about the property was wonderful! The place itself is very modern, clean and quiet. The location could not be any better, walking distance to both the port and multiple beautiful beaches. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful any chance they could get. We would recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in Parikia, Paros!
The rooms are very cosy and well designed. Simple but elegant and modern. The location was perfect for me, near the beach and short walk from Paros town but also quiet. The owner is friendly and helpful. Breakfast options were good. In August all hotels are expensive so this turned out to be excellent value for me travelling alone.
Amazing value and location! The place is just a short walk down the alleyway to the Main Street through Chora (Parikia). We really enjoyed exploring Paros and Kato Yialos was a great place to come back every night. It also has a parking lot nearby which is very useful if you have a car and lots of luggage.
It was perfect location. Nice colorful plenty of areas to chill.kobstantino was amazing host. He explained everything about paros were to go. The best iv had in greece. Made me a coffee each day and helped out each day on were I was going. 10 points il def be telling people to stay here. Thankyou so much
Anthippi is a lovely, situated on a side road a short walk from the centre of Paros town. The host is a lovely lady, very helpful, with a friendly dog. She has designed and decorated all the facilities at the hotel, which has a comfortable quirkiness to it.
The hotel is sooo Greece. Just by market street. Very close to everything. Elena was very nice & outstanding accommodation. She was very helpful with where to go in the island. I can not wait to come back and stay in Hotel Dina again. A must stay in Paros!
Cute place with everything we needed. Beds were comfortable. Close to restaurants. Host was friendly and helpful…he allowed us to drop off our bags early, recommended restaurants, and got us a taxi to the airport. We had a great visit to Paros!
Staff is great and Manos in particular a very nice guy that will tell you the best places to go in Paros. Close to rent-a-car/scooters, cafes, restaurants and two steps from the beach. Parikia beautiful center only 5 minutes walking.
Absolutely exceptional, the staff is the best, amazing service. Breakfast are incredibly delicious. No question that during our next trip to Paros we will be returning to this hotel.
