My name is Kostas Vasilakis and I have studied marketing and business management. Already being an owner of two successful villas and co-owner of a well known web development company in Greece, I started to manage other villas in 2012. Villa Mayeia is comprised of three levels, connected by a central staircase, covering 260 sq. m. in total. The residence features 2 pools, one of which can be heated, a sauna and 5 en-suite bedrooms, offering privacy among your group, and can accommodate up to 12 guests. Tucked into the southern coastal landscape of the island, Villa Mayeia provides a serene retreat for recharging in Crete. This impressive holiday home is situated in the area of Plakias, in a beneficial location, just minutes away from all kinds of daily amenities as well as the homonymous long sandy beach, so our guests can enjoy a car-free holiday.

Villa Mayeia is located just 250 metres on foot from the famous sandy beach of Plakias and offers a magical views of the Libyan sea and the sunset. Originally a very small and quiet fishing village, Plakias town has become a renowned tourist resort now providing all the facilities our guests would wish for a self-catering holiday. Within walking distance you can find from supermarkets and bakeries, including a very wide range of products local and traditional goods, to a post office, a variety of tavernas, cafes, bars, ATMs, doctor’s office and souvenir shops. While it has grown in size over the years, it still retains its special charm that draws many visitors back again, year after year.
