The villa is exceptionally situated right by the beach, which is almost like a private beach since it's far from hotels and not many people come to it. It's got a big yard, perfect for kids to unwind their energy, and also has a barbecue place and an amazing outdoor shower - perfect for when you're coming from a swim in the sea. The hosts are really nice and warmly welcomed us with a very tasty traditional dish and provided plenty of recommendations for shops and restaurants around. They also kept in touch with us periodically ensuring we had everything we needed. We warmly recommend this villa and we will definitely return!

Arrival day - to be welcomed with a basket of goodies and traditional Cretan home cooked meal that is a 5star 5diamond service. 3.Throughout our stay Lambros was just a message away Location-basically we had a private beach not sandy however equipment was available - weather did not help however it was late October Stavromenos has all you need and easy to reach across the island. Facilities everything we needed or might wanted was around.( Barbecue wood or gas your call) Easy to explore all sides of the islands

My partner and I chose Villa Thalassa as we were looking for a beach holiday somewhere peaceful, away from the usual crowds, noisy families and party-goers. The villa offered exactly what we were hoping for. Situated right on the coast and a bit off the beaten tourist track, the property has direct access to a small beach which, although not private, is frequented by only a few people. In fact, a great deal of the time we had it to ourselves when we visited in late June. Although the villa is quiet and secluded, it is by no means isolated. There are a couple of restaurants within walking distance, a supermarket nearby, and, of course, the charming town of Rethymno, with all its amenities, is only a short drive away. Our hosts made us feel really welcome; they offered us complimentary food and drinks which were really welcome, especially on the day we arrived, and made sure we were okay throughout our stay. We wouldn’t hesitate to visit this lovely place again in the future.

We had a wonderful and relaxing stay in this place. The property is actually on the sea having a large exterior area where we setted our bbq and spend the whole day by the beach that was on our doorstep. The beach itself was very nice and kind of private because of the property's location, offering both shaded parts because of some beautiful large trees or parts to sunbath the whole day and ofcourse by the end of the day a beautiful sunset. As of the villa our beds and rooms where very comfortable and all of the house was very clean when we entered. Compliments to the owner who was waiting for us having some local goods prepared for us already, that was a trully wonderful gesture. We could literally spend all of our summer in this small paradise.

Die Lage ist einfach traumhaft. Über die riesige Terrasse gelangt man direkt an "seine eigene" Badebucht. Wir waren fast immer alleine dort, nur gelegentlich kamen ein paar Strandspaziergänger vorbei. Die ganze Liegenschaft ist sehr gepflegt, die Ausstattung hochwertig (inkl. sehr bequemer Liegestühle). Von den Gastgebern wurden wir mit einem frisch zubereiteten Moussaka überrascht, dazu noch mit einem voll gefüllten Kühlschrank inkl. Olivenöl, Wein und Ouzo. Auch sonstige Wünsche wurden uns sofort erfüllt. So etwas hatten wir bislang noch nicht erlebt. Wer rund um die Uhr Ruhe und direkte Strandnähe sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Für uns auch wichtig: In "Fussdistanz" sind Restaurants und eine ausgezeichnete Bäckerei zu finden. Wir haben unseren nächsten Aufenthalt in 2022 bereits reserviert.
