The location is fabulous, so close to the old town and the views from the terrace is fantastic both during the day and at night. It is an easy walk to any of the gates into the town - lots of steps home though-as it is Dubrovnik!

The location is good but as is pointed out on web site - this property only accessible by many steps. The view is really good. The terrace with table and view would be great in fine weather, but unfortunately not practical on wet days. Enjoyed the reverse cycle air con.

1. This is a wonderful place to enjoy the bustling Dubrovnik from a distance. We have two small children, so this location was ideal for us to have them get a comfortable nights rest, while we enjoyed the beautiful, peaceful view of the old city walls and the harbor. It is less than a 5 minute walk into the heart of the old town, so the location of this apartment is superb. 2. The air conditioner works great. 3. The beds are very comfortable and clean.

Apartment Katarina is located in the most attractive place of the town with beautiful view on the sea, island Lokrum and Old Town of Dubrovnik which you can reach in three minutes. Apartment contains two bedrooms, bathroom with shower, fully equipped kitchen, living room and nice terrace. It is air-conditioned.

눉Need to wait for the heat water in the bathroom. Cold at night without heater or air-conditioner in the room. Location is OK for the backpackers but not for the guests who carried the big luggage as need to climb-up many stairs to this apartment.

눉The kitchen equipment and utensils weren't very good for a self catering apartment. There were no sharp knives for food preparation. The bathroom is very small and it needs some hooks or towel rails.
눇Good position for access to old city, the view was great.

눉The property is well equipped but is "tired" and need some updating. We had great weather and mostly spent our time there outside enjoying the view but it may not have been so pleasant if the weather was not good.

눉Our host was lovely, but wanted the balance paid in cash on arrival (cards aren't accepted). This meant a 10 minute walk to a cashpoint at the end of what had already been a long journey. No problem and I understand why, but this wasn't clear on any of the booking instructions so be prepared to pay up front. The place could really do with a refurb as it's looking pretty old and tired, but it's clean and tidy, and why would you want to be inside when you're in such an amazing location with that incredible view.

눉It's a long walk straight up from the bottom of Dubrovnik old Town to apartment. The air conditioning system didn't work very well so it was quite uncomfortable at night.

눉Neighbours were rude regarding the gate and deliberately blocked the view with washing, sheets that were bone dry hung out for days blocking the lovely view, the best thing about the apartment. No information on anything and owner showed up an hour early. Also arrived early when we were to vacate so felt rushed leaving. Kitchen lacked a kettle, a toaster or a microwave and very cramped with so much furniture in it. Hence we did not use it.

눉Disappointing after an email, then two progress texts en route that owner left us waiting 15 minutes on our arrival, was wet and cold. Property is tired and dated, with a lot of unnecessary stuff - like staying at grandmas, but then it is only 2 star. Four of us staying, hot water running out by third shower and none for the last shower. Tiles loose on kitchen wall, towels very thin, needs a lot of TLC. Suspect photos were taken with wide angle lens as lounge area is essentially only a wide hallway.
