Fantastic central location overlooking beach and only 5min walk from marina, shops, restaurants & cafes. Very friendly host who was very proud of his family home (they rent out the middle & top floors, and live on the ground floor). Large terrace to relax outside on our top floor 1 bed apartment. Steps from building out to the beach. Views from rooms & terrace over the bay, moored yachts & nearby coast & mountains ... fabulous!

Property information

Apartments On the Beach are situated in a beautiful coastal village of Komiza on the Island of Vis. Apartments are ideally placed right on the beach and just a short walk away from Riva with all its cafes, restaurants and shops. Property offers two apartments, a two bedroom apartments with balcony and sea view, and a one bedroom apartment with terrace. Both have free wifi, air conditioning, SAT TV, private bathrooms and fully equipped kitchens. Luggage storage is possible prior to check in. Parking is private, near the apartments and chargeable. There is also a free public parking option, but number of places is limited so it can not be guaranteed. *2021 update: Your hosts are vaccinated!

Neighbourhood information

Upon a time Komiza was a little fishing place. With a variety of apartments and rooms, numerous cafes, a very rich cuisine, as well as various tourist attractions, it has grown into a real tourist destination. Komiza is located on the western part of the island, situated at the foot of Mount Hum, at a depth of Komiza bay. There are many attractions and sites to see nearby, as the famous Blue Cave, museums, churches, army bunkers, forts and many beautiful bays and beaches. Nearest restaurant is just down the street, as is tourist info, and market and post office are about 300 m away. Bank, bus top and ambulance and pharmacy are 600 m away. Ferry port is 11 km away.
