“The Hotel Bor is a wonderful small hotel located in a pine grove right on the shore of the Adriatic, just a short, pleasant walk from Krk town. The breakfast buffet is fabulous, and the food at the hotel's full-service restaurant is always excellent. There are livelier, noisier hotels in Krk town, including some high-rise hotels near the Bor, but for anyone who prefers a quieter, more restful, more personal touch in their accommodations, it would be hard to do better than the Bor. The staff are unfailingly attentive, courteous, and helpful, for instance resolving a minor problem (a malfunctioning ceiling light) within a few minutes of my mentioning it. We have stayed at the Bor several times over the past 12 or 13 years, and like it better every time. A bonus: it's easy to find wonderful restaurants in Krk town. One of our favorites is the Mali Nono, just a 10-minute walk from the Bor.” Read more
