I don't know if there actually IS another hotel in historic old town Zadar, but it really doesn't. matter,, as this is the only HOTEL to choose. The staff are so friendly and helpful that it is like staying with a family, but better, as the folks at the reception (24 hrs) are better qualified with knowledge and language skills than a family would be. The location is in the heart of scenic Zadar on the former Roman forum. But it is quiet. The views of the Forum, the Riva, the sea, Dugi Otok, and sunsets is wonderful. Very clean with all the mod-cons. VERY AFFORDABLE Great breakfast served when you require it. I toured rhe separate HOSTEL. and it is a delight, with privacy, attached bath, view. Interesting layout. Max 4 beds to a room, but each separated. BOTH are your home away from home in wonderful Zadar.

1. LOCATION On the Forum in the center of historic Zadar - steps from EVERYTHING, the boat dock, the shops, Bipa & D&M, the museums, the restaurants, the seaside.promenade, the churches (which are mostly closed), the post office, the banks, the walking tours, the cafes, &c. 2. STAFF Intelligent, caring, competent. perfect English, willing and able to help with all your traveler/tourist needs. You are never alone in Zadar. 3. FACILITIES Clean, quiet, comfortable all modcons (great Wifi, plugs, tea/coffee maker, closets w/real hangers, shelves in bathroom, great shower, nice big table w/chairs, comfy bed, instantly effective AC that functions also when you are not in the room ), 24 hr reception. 4. VIEW Incredible view of Forum, Adriatic, Islands, sunset 5. GOOD BREAKFAST, Varied and served when you want.

Fabulous staff, so friendly, competent, and helpfull with all of my complicated needs. Helpful suggestions and info on wonderful Zadar. They were both amazing. The room was interesting - a hexagon with 5 sides black-glass mirrors, and the 6th all windows with a fantastc view of the Forum and the Adriatic. SUPER location on the Forum in the center of Zadar. Comfy bed, clean, quiet, safe area. Coffee/,Tea maker. Lots of outlets and excellent WIFI. GREAT shower. VERY affordable. Great home-made breakfast. I ALWAYS stay here in Zadar

Vrooom United States of America

The mattress was comfortable and the location was amazing! The hostel was clean and the staff was nice! The fact that the bed has curtains was good and the view from the bedroom also very nice. They have a small kitchen that can be useful. The vending machine was great (5kn for water, buy it there!) and also a coffee machine (2kn for coffee, amazing!).

Juliana Sweden

The location was just perfect facing the Roman Forum from the room. The room was clean, comfy and the fact that each room has two doors makes it more private. Staff was helpful and eager to solve any issue.

Yazmin Mexico

The perfect place. Perfect location . Even ok for any age group as our neighbours were a 70 year old couple. Perfectly located in Zadar close to everything with a magnificent view

Akhil India

It's super clean and well located. The beds are kind of capsules, so you can have a bit of privacy even in a shared bedroom. There is a small but nice courtyard where you can relax.

Henrique Germany

Absolutely Amazing Location. Can't get any better than this. Awesome view. In OLD TOWN within walking distance of all major attactions. Decent Breakfast consisting of Coffee (3-4 types) / Hot Chocolate. Cereal, Fruits, Scrambled eggs, Yogurt & Bread etc.

Rajesh India

Clean, spacious and good amenities. The chill room and kitchen was great.

Michael Canada

Ideally located in the heart of old town Zadar. Everything is new and spotlessly clean. Wifi is fast (compared to other locations in the area). Breakfast is simple but the Italian coffee machine was wonderful - we rated it the second best coffee on our entire Croatia adventure - and it's a great deal as included in the price of private rooms.

Stay in the heart of Zadar – Excellent location – show map

One of our best sellers in Zadar! Offering free WiFi and air-conditioned accommodations units, the newly built Boutique Hostel Forum is located in the very heart of ancient Zadar, next to the Romanesque St. Anastasia's Cathedral, pre-Romanesque St. Donatus’ Church and the Roman Forum.

Set on the main promenade called Kalelarga, all accommodations units feature modern design and a bathroom with a shower and free toiletries. In addition to this, standard twin room and superior double room provide a flat-screen satellite TV and complimentary breakfast.

Cafés, restaurants, grocery and souvenir shops can be found at virtually every corner in the Old Town. The unique Sea Organ and Greeting to the Sun are at a distance of 1,300 feet.

A bus stop is 500 feet away. Zadar Ferry Port, with links to the islands of Dugi Otok, Pašman and Ugljan as well as to the Italian city of Ancona, is within 1,000 feet. The main bus station is at a distance of 0.9 mi, while Zadar International Airport is 9.3 mi from the Forum Boutique Hostel.

This is our guests' favorite part of Zadar, according to independent reviews.

Couples in particular like the location – they rated it 9.8 for a two-person trip.

An Inside Look at Boutique Hostel Forum

The hostel’s design is actually a love story - a fusion of traditional and modern with a kiss blown to Zadar. Homage is paid to one of Zadar’s landmarks and hostel’s namesake, the Roman Forum, by including elements of Roman architecture and culture such as the ‘grandstand’ in the common area as well as the Roman numerals used to mark the rooms together with standard numbering. The colours chosen fully reflect Zadar - the ‘Zadar blue’ as the blue sky above and crystal clear sea below paired with the orange colour of the most beautiful sunset in the world.

Located in the historic old town

The streets in Zadar’s old town are paved with marble and lined with the remains of its Roman and Venetian history. Check out the Sea Organ – steps on the waterfront that make "music" when the water passes through pipes underneath.
