“The location of the hotel is very central, it is in a narrow street right from the main square. There are a lot of restaurants, souvenir shops and supermarkets nearby; also the sights of Krk are just a few steps away. The room itself was very nicely furbished, it is really stylish and offers you everything you need (water heater, fridge, extra blankets and pillows). The staff was also lovely, they were easily reachable and answered all our questions. We also brought our Dalmatian dog with us, which was not a problem at all.” Read more

“The Hotel Placa is a nice little hotel in the heart of the old town in Krk.  The (inexpensive fee-paid) parking is about 100 yards away across the town square and places (in October) seemed reasonably available.  Apparently, there is another free car park further up the hill, but we didn’t use it.  The (standard) room we had was small but perfectly well-equipped and had a nice sized bathroom.  Staff were very helpful and friendly in helping us find what we needed.  Breakfast was provided courtesy of a cafe on the town square.” Read more

“The location in the old town of Krk was perfect for exploring the city. The hotel arranges nearby parking as the city is car free; they took us to the nearby parking lot. Breakfast was at a lovely restaurant around the corner and included coffee, juice, and a selection of hot choices from the menu. The staff was extremely helpful and considerate. We had an extra bed plus a dog and neither was an issue. The hotel is in a renovated old house and each rooom is unique.” Read more
