The property is in the old diplomat area of Zagreb. Leafy green and only a 10-20 minute walk to the main parts of the city. The host Nadia is as fabulous as all the reviews mention and provides a very comprehensive breakfast! Highly recommended. I would stay here if back in Zagreb

Everything. Nadia is the best & friendliest host I’ve ever met in my 3 decades of travelling. She treated her guests with utmost. sincerity. Breakfast is excellent, room is spacious, comfortable Kings-sized bed, adequate heating and really beautiful living, dining area with mini botanical garden backyard. It has the wow factor. Located in a very nice, quiet residential area. Convenient with only 10-15 min walk to the shopping district of Ilica or one can take a 2-stop tram. Exceeded my expectation of the house.

The size and quality finishing in the bedroom and bathroom were excellent. The bed was a delight to sleep in and the property is located within a short relaxing walk to Zagreb central and the old town. However, the secret ingredient as to why this accommodation is exceptional is the Nadia, who is the consummate host. Her hospitality is warming and comforting, the breakfast she cooks is fresh, extensive and of the highest quality. Eating it in the conservatory is an experience in itself. Sitting in front of the wood fire in the evening, after a day of exploring Zagreb was enjoyable. Nadia’s knowledge and the history and culture of the area is extensive and she willingly shared her understanding with us. This place is one of those rare finds where the accommodation and hospitality are exceptional. We would highly recommend Embassy Row BnB to travellers seeking not only to see the sights but to experience the culture, particularly Aussies and Kiwis.

We booked Embassy Row BnB for the final night of our Croatian road trip and were not disappointed! Absolutely lovely host who couldn't do enough to make us feel welcome in Zagreb and ensure we made the most of our time. Fantastic location situated next to a tranquil park, but just a short walk into the historic old city. We were greeted for breakfast with a feast of delicious food to help set up us for out final day in Croatia.

On our way back from Greece, we decided to spend a night in Zagreb. We booked at 7:00 in the evening and arrived at 9:00 in the evening. So it was a completely spontaneous thing. We were warmly welcomed by Nadia on arrival and she showed us around straight away. The rooms are very nicely furnished. Since there were three of us, we had the suite with two separate bedrooms. The house is in a very quiet location. We slept like on a cloud. In the evening, we also discussed breakfast and the time. When we went to breakfast the next morning, an excellent breakfast with homemade and freshly prepared products awaited us. We have never had such a great breakfast. From our point of view it is more than 5 star standard. Truly unique. Immediately after breakfast, we had to move on. But we will definitely come back and stay with Nadia. Nadia is an extraordinary and very warm person who can really read every wish from your eyes. The house is absolutely top and highly recommended.

There is not a single thing to critique about Embassy Row. It is located close to the centre and every sight is roughly a 15 minute walking distance away. The rooms are spacious and tastefully furnished by Nadia, the host. And we can't really praise her enough. Not only is she a great cook and will go to any length to make sure her guests have everything their hearts desire (truffles, tofu, you name it, she'll get it) she was also very helpful in providing insights about Zagreb and Croatia and some local tipps and information on what to do and where to eat. Overall one of the sweetest women we ever came across and we hope to visit again in the near future.

Very beautiful and stylish rooms! We loved the individual interior and specifically the common areas and the winter garden with all the plants and the breakfast area :) the staff was more than welcoming and we felt like home. Nadia and Sophie gave us super tips what to do in Zagreb and prepared a versatile breakfast with super delicious muffins :)

This place is absolutely breathtaking with so much character and we are so glad we decided last minute to stay here instead of a hotel. Nadia is a wonderful host who made sure our stay was perfect. The house is beautiful on a quiet street of Zagreb and the city center is only a short walk away. The room is large and very comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. We wish we could stay a little longer!

We are a young couple from Holland and have stayed in Nadia’s gorgeous house in Zagreb for the last three days. Nadia is as good as it gets; she made us feel right at home and completely charmed us with her intelligence and warmth. She also makes the best breakfasts (and omelets) that we have ever had. It felt like staying with family. The room is beautiful and very romantic, in a more quiet area of Zagreb, surrounded by trees. We highly recommend this place to anyone. Also when traveling during the pandemic, Nadia makes sure you feel safe and well taken care of.
