I bought and renovated my wonderful seafront villa with private pool - a 19th Century former sea captains home in 2010. It took 3 years but as you can see, it was well worth the effort! Contact me with any questions you have....I'll me delighted to help. Richard Please note: the nearest airport is Dubrovnik, and is only 75 miles. This site only displays airports as the crow flies, thus I'd recommend not using Spilt airport, as 4 hours by car.
We love travelling to Croatia and enjoying this fabulous stretch of coastline. Our villa home is located in the village of Viganj, a stunning natural bay with beautiful houses along its front-end several bars and restaurants. From Footprints Villa, you are can walk to all the village facilities, that also includes a well stocked mini supermarket, ATM, foot ferry over to Korcula Island/town and of course the sea and beaches. Viganj is a mecca for kite boarding and wind surfing. If you fancy a go, there are several hire operations with tuition for beginners to pro's! Or just watch the action from the comfort of the villa's sea terrace with something cold in hand!
The village of Viganj (pronounced vegan) is set right on the sea shore in a sweeping bay with crystal clear waters. In the this cute village are lots of bars and restaurants, a mini supermarket and the foot ferry over to the wonderful 'mini' Dubrovnik town of Korcula.
