Beautiful view, incredibly kind and accommodating host.

United States of Americavery helpful and friendly staff. Ante went well beyond his normal duty to help us to enjoy our stay and trip. He picked us up at the main bus station/ferry terminal. He also gave us a ride to the best view point near the cable car top. He gave us all information we need to explore the city and old town such as bus route, restaurants, markets, etc. Upon our arrival, he gave us a desert dish, a carton of apple juice, home grown oranges. He also picked grapes for us from his home grown grape vines. Nobody beats his exceptional services. He is also just a nice person!

United States of AmericaAnte is the greatest and most friendly host in town! From the moment his broad smile greets you, you will feel welcome at his guesthouse. The rooms are extremely clean and cozy. Most visitors share a large and spacious kitchen area that has everything you will need for your stay, although I see little reason to cook with all of the amazing, inexpensive restaurants available. Although S & L is far outside of the old town, Ante is very helpful in providing public transport info, which is cheap and simple to use. Frankly, I was glad to escape the mayhem of the touristy old town and to retreat to my quiet, peaceful guesthouse. It is in a very safe residential neighborhood that is within walking distance of local stores, bakeries and restaurants as well as the interesting Red Museum, which covers the history of Yugoslavia in the 20th century. Let Ante welcome you to beautiful Dubrovnik at S & L!

CanadaAnte, the host, IS TRULY EXTRAORDINARY. In every sense. Super kind and attentive. Ante goes well above and beyond to assure your stay is pleasant and comfortable. He picked us up from the Ferry arrival area- out of his kind heart. And made time to drop us off at the end of our stay. He was helping another guest who had issues with his car rental. He took the time to explain to us how to navigate the town of Dubrovnik. I do not recall a more attentive host in our travels for the last 20 years. We hope to come back and stay at his place again. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!
