Could not ask for a better location, service or accommodation. Edita, Ivan, Leo and both Josephs treated us with wonderful hospitality. Edita and Ivan went above and beyond to ensure our time in Split was perfect. This boutique hotel has only 5 rooms, which allows for the staff to provide such exceptional service. From dinner reservations to car rentals and everything in between, they made our stay so special and memorable. The location is perfect! Breakfast is wonderful and there are many options from which to choose. Our room was lovely and had a very comfortable bed. Highly recommend this hotel and we hope to be back soon. Thank you again to Edita and Ivan for making us feel so welcome!

Everything was spectacular. Ivan carried out heavy luggages in and out the hotel. Edita the receptionist was just awesome, kind and helpful. I miss Croatia and this hotel already. I would definitely recommend this hotel and can’t wait to come back.

Incredibly location, right in the heart of Split - perched above all the activity. Lovely entry and rooms with beautifully maintained furniture and furnishings. Super comfortable bedding. Gracious and kind staff. Astonishing breakfast tucked away around the corner.

The staff make this hotel absolutely top notch. Ivan the manager was just incredible. Met us personally at the drop off point when we arrived and carried our bags for us to the hotel (in 95 degree heat). I offered to help but he absolutely insisted on doing it for us. Further he arranged dinner for us every night (we had tentative reservations, but he recommended other places), and his recommendations were incredible, couldn’t have been happier. He also helped arrange a walking tour, boat tour, and car service — he really took care of it all. The location of the hotel is what it’s all about as well. Right in the center of Old Town, really 1-2 minute walk from everything. If (and when) we come back, we will be staying there again!

The staff on duty, either Edita or Dom, escorted me around the corner for a delicious breakfast with a little taverna with whom they have a connection. Breakfast was bespoke. They asked me what I wanted and it appeared! Fresh fruit of various kinds, poached egg on toast with avocado. I cannot speak higher of the staff, Edita and Dom, who went out of their way to treat me as if I were a member of the family. I was invited for a drink, and when I wanted to go somewhere, they showed me on the map how to get there, as the palace is a bit confusing. Each dinner reservation was better than the previous one, and I found their help just wonderful. The room was spectacular, and the wall of the bathroom was from the 4th century! Every possible amenity was provided to me. From the hand-painted ceilings, to the Murano light fixtures, to the antiques, attention had been made to detail.

This hotel was recommended by a well traveled friend and it was truly amazing! Beautiful hotel with rich history in the center of it all! But most importantly the staff was the best. Especially the manager Ivan. He was our hero! We had no plans for the week and he worked so hard to make all of our arrangements and travel accommodations for our boats, tours, other hotels! He made our trip perfect and we our so deeply grateful! We will come back and also tell all our friends to visit this hotel, mainly because Ivan was just the best!

The location of this hotel is excellent. The staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. They assisted us with tour booking, advised on the best beaches to visit and helped with dinner reservations. The bed was really comfortable. Bathroom beautifully fitted. Breakfast in the adjoining courtyard was delicious too and the staff also extremely attentive.

Great location on the main pedestrian route from Diocletian’s Palace. The staff were fantastic, really friendly and helpful. They met our cab down at the harbour and carried our bags, they arranged various complicated transfers for us, they recommended and booked restaurants for us. Room was lovely.
