A city with an incredible and rich history.
A city with an incredible and rich history. Very accessible by road, only about a hundred kilometers from Zagreb. By visiting the walking routes, you can see from several historical buildings and locations to incredible nature along the river Slunjčica, Korana and the beautiful waterfalls of Rastoke. Rastoke is definitely a must-see. The town offers several excellent restaurants and shops with locally produced food. I definitely recommend a visit.

The accommodation is situated in an elevated and prime location, within walking distance of a major attraction, It is just down some stairs and across the road from the natural wonder known as Rastoke. We visited and explored Rastoke.
We visited and explored Rastoke. Parking is unforunately very limited, we tried to pay for parking but did not find any option to pay by credit card or cash. We did not have data since we travelled from Canada. We parked at the bottom/the end of the road and did not pay for parking. Luckily we did not get ant ticket.

Unbelievable place!
Unbelievable place! The old town built totally on the river and over the waterfalls! Like in Moovie! We were just returning from Plitvicke jezera and didn’t know about this village! We needed to stay somewhere on the road and I read about Slunj! Next day we spent walking over the beautiful waterfalls and between ancient houses and historical watermills💙MariiaUkraine - 10Scored 10

Very scenic, few thousand leaving people village. Have nice river,waterfalls,castle,view point,many tourist bicycle roads. In season full of restaurant/conoba/ in Croatian. Good connection to another party of Croatian Country. Places for campers,rest area with service for grey and black water. Good connection by bus from main towns of Croatia.

The hosts are very helpful and will answer all your questions and give you recommendations what to do and where to go. Also, you don't have to worry about parking because there is a parking spot reserved for Pego guests.
