Villa Cindro is a unique private historical property dating from 1750, composed of two separate buildings, a large private parking and a 1000 m2 garden. It is situated only 8 kilometres south of Split, between the busy scenic road (Magistrala) at the back and a mini marina in the front. Two rental units are situated in the larger building. The access is from the parking and there is no elevator. 1. Villa Cindro Apartment is on two levels on the second and third floor of the larger building. The kitchen, dining room, double bed bedroom and the bathroom are on the first level. An open spiral staircase leads to the open space gallery (loft) where there are two beds and the comfortable sitting/TV area. Both levels have A/C. 2. Villa Cindro Studio is on the first floor. It is composed of a kitchen/dinning/sleeping area with a double bed and a bathroom. Both accommodations have private parkings, outdoor and indoor dining facilities and outdoor furniture. Very complete, the furniture perfectly matches the historic character of the residence. Our guests can freely use and enjoy the magnificent French garden which was created in early 1900. They can have their meals in the shade of the palm trees. There is a direct access from the parking to the main garden. The whole property is situated on the sea front, a five-minute walk to the left leads to a lovely little family beach with small pebbles on the beach but a sandy bottom and a gentle slope into the transparent water. We speak Croatian, English, French and Italian.

The owner is a dynamic granny who took care of the entire Cindro family legacy for the last 60 years, passing along her love and passion for the place to her children and grandchildren. Now, all the family members are involved in the organisation and the upkeeping of the property. We are all very communicative and can provide various information to guests to make their stay enjoyable. We all spend several weeks in the property during summer.

Villa Cindro is located a few kilometres from the centre of Split, between the mountain Mosor and the Adriatic sea. There is a very reliable public transport - the bus stop to Split is right behind the house. The journey to the historic city centre takes about twenty minutes. It is possible to take either the regular line, number 60 of the public bus "Promet" which is supposed to pass every half hour or the private mini-bus "Damaltinac" which passes every 20 minutes. Parking in Split is not very easy and quickly becomes quite expensive. You can make many day trips in the area - get the feeling of the roman empire and richness in the Diocletian's palace (and the site of Daenarys throne room) in Split, the town-monument under UNESCO protection, visit the pirate town of Omis, go canoeing or rafting in the Cetina canyon, climb the mountain Mosor and watch the sun dive into the Adriatic sea from the Mosor observatory, go to the National park Krka, take a ferry or speed boat to the nearby islands, visit the oldest still working mill in the region and buy real freshly produced flour, visit Klis, a famous fortress that was very important for the defence against the Otoman invasion- now known as Mereen from the Game of Thrones, go golfing in the nearby golf course, swim in the beautiful Adriatic sea or maybe only relax on the nearby beaches. Near the facility there is a rental office where you can rent jet-skis, quads, or purchase one-day excursions to nearby islands by excursion boats.
