Villa Istriana is a self-catering accommodations located in Ližnjan, 2297 feet from the beach, walking distance to restaurants and just 6.2 mi from Pula, “the little Rome of Croatia”. The property offers three semi-detached vacation houses and one studio apartment for short-term and longer-term rental. All accommodations units will provide you with a TV, air conditioning and a private terrace. The kitchen is fully equipped and offers a microwave and an oven. Featuring a shower, private bathrooms also come with a hairdryer and towels. The property is set among family homes and offers free Wi-Fi and parking. All guests have access to the beautiful Mediterranean garden with large pool area and XXL BBQ with pizza stone oven. Mountain bikes are also available for a small fee to explore around. Studio apartment is located in the main building and it’s private terrace with see & pool view is accessible via stairs only. Washing machines in the central washroom can be used by our guests. Small amount would be charged per washing, detergent is included in the fee. Sports facilities such as tennis, volleyball, horseback riding, diving, paintball etc. can be enjoyed nearby. Beaches, restaurants, grocery shops, and nature reserves are all nearby, within walking distance. Medulin, a popular tourist hub with Istria’s largest sandy beach, is just 1.2 mi away. The historic city of Pula, with its 3000-year history, and the beautiful national parks Brioni and Kamenjak, are only 10-12 mi away.

Company info

Villa Istriana is my home. I live here with my dog Lili (Maltese) and look forward to a visit of my grandchildren and guests from entire world each summer. Before I retired I used to be a nurse. I lived and worked for some 30 years in Germany, hence, next to Croatian, I also speak German. My children and Grandchildren help me with other languages and computer. I enjoy cooking and gardening.

Property info

We are proud to offer our guests a homely environment. It is simple, we listen to our guests and have built a place we would prefer for vacation ourselves. We continuously invest in making Villa Istriana even a greater place, e.g. we have just built a large pool area with BBQ and pizza stone oven for our guests (2022). Based on guests feedback we also just started offering mountain bikes for entire family so you can explore the surroundings and bike from beach to beach.

Neighborhood info

Liznjan is a small fisher`s village, 12 km from Pula and 2 km from Medulin. In the village itself there are small shops, pharmacy and a very good restaurants with delicious food. In Liznjan itself there are many "Robinson beaches", yet also with beach bars. The water is clear so that you can even see the fishes and the see shells. In Medulin there is the biggest sandy beach which is perfect for small children. Medulin itself is also interesting for kids because of its amusement park.
