Verg friendly and helpful staff who were fluent in English, clean rooms, delicious breakfast and just all round a lovely stay, with a very cool view of the river! It was my partner’s birthday while we were there and they saw the card I left when cleaning the room, and we were given complimentary wine on our return from our day out, which was very kind. Would recommend staying here to anyone for a one-of-a-kind visit.

I can just reccommend it. Excellent staff by arrival, during the night shift as well and also by check-out. The bed was really comfortable. And the room had a wonderful view to the Parliament and to the Margaret bridge. I am sure to stay again soon there.

Cozy hotel in a very-very good place -- from the window there was a view to the Hungarian parliament building, Margit bridge and island were at the other side. Everything was OK -- the room (or cabin as it is on the ship) was comfortable, well equipped. Since it was +39 in Budapest in July 2022, a frige and AC were extremely necessary. The location on the river also helped to relieve the heat. Breakfast was tasty, varied enough. We were a bit concerned about parking but there was a free parking very close to the hotel. We could reccommend this hotel to everyone -- it's something special, not just a house in the city.

    Dear Iris, Thank you very much for contacting us. Municipal parking available in front of the boat and its free of charge, but its not secured with camera or security staff. You can find secured parking spots in just a few hundred meters.

Grand Jules - Boat Hotel is a 3-star boat hotel situated on the buda side of Budapest, next to the Margaret Bridge, with view to the pest side and the Hungarian Parliament building. The boat has 36 non-smoking doube/twin rooms (equipped with shower, TV, telephone, heating/air-conditioning, free WIFI) and few event venues as well. We offer a unique experience in a calm and peaceful environment despite being in the heart of the city. Something interesting about our ship: it appeared at the end of Emir Kusturica's famous movie: 'Black Cat, White Cat'.
