Perfect setting near a sumeg castle,good food, nice spa

There was an impressive variety of dishes (we had 2 vegetarians in our company who often had limited choices at Hungarian restaurants during our stay in the country, but not here) and the quality of everything we tasted was excellent. The gym was very well equipped, the pools were great and as we were travelling with a toddler, we really appreciated the availability of kid programmes and the kid friendly facilities. We had a nice, spacious, clean room and comfortable beds (including the cot bed for our son), so we could really feel recharging our batteries during our short stay.

The Hotel Kapitány Wellness, right below the Sümeg Castle, along the road 84, features a fully equipped spa area, free Wi-Fi, free parking and a breakfast buffet.
In the summer months, historical equestrian game shows and medieval royal feasts are held at the castle Sümeg above Hotel Kapitány Wellness. They feature weapon and carriage exhibitions, horse-riding and -training as well as exhibition fights with medieval weapons.
The wellness area provides a swimming-pool of oriental style, a steam bath, an outdoor pool, a hot tub and several kinds of saunas. The wellness treatments include remedial and reviving massage, relaxing bathes as well as various fitness programs.
