Very nice, cosy apartment in a great location in the centre of Budapest with super helpful hosts. Lovely apartment for couples.

TurkeyVery nice hosts. We were travelling with a 3 year old and they thoughtfully rearranged the furniture. The apartment is huge and bang in the city centre. We walked everywhere. It's tastefully decorated and in a really quite block - got a great night's sleep after walking all day. Has everything one might need. Very convenient for travellers with hand luggage only. Great shops and restaurants at the doorstep. Note early check out. For a fee we extended our stay longer and the hosts were kind enough to keep the bags for us whilst we explored the city. Would definitely stay again if in Budapest.

United KingdomThe apartment was spacious, very clean and is in the most perfect location. It is located on the 2nd floor with elevator access if needed. A bonus for travellers is having a good washing machine. We loved our 3 day break in Budapest in this fabulous apartment and if we ever head back we would happily rebook there. The hosts organised a taxi to the airport for us and happily stored our luggage for us while we did some last minute exploring. Checkin was easy and communication was great. They do not have credit card facilities so make sure you have cash

AustraliaWe liked everything about the property! It is just perfect for a couple who like to stay right in the Budapest centre in a 100 year old house from austro-hungarian period. The apartment is huge, wondefully restored and modernized, keeping the old details and the feeling. The communication with the owners is perfect. They are very helpful and service minded. They even arranged the transport from the airport to the apartment. And the return, of course, so we didn’t have to drag suitcases with 25 kg hungarian sausages through the streets. Again: Perfect!

Host Info
The present building was built between 1910- 12. Before, it's been a residential building with a rest- house and a patisserie. The street got its name Fehér hajó after this rest-house in 1790, which was dedicated to the White Ship. The medieval wall of Pest run along the northern side of this rest-house. The office building built between 1910-12 was the famous Phoenix headquaters, the centre of an insurance company. The building got seriously damaged in 1944-45, and it's tower with a huge statue of a phoenix bird has not been restored.
I am the owner of both apartments and I personally manage all details.
Our building is in the heart of downtown Pest, you cannot be more central to discover the main sights of the city.
