Our modern, renew apt (with A/C) is in an old historical 4 level multiflat building (built in 1889)on its 2nd floor (NO ELEVATOR!!!! but easy steps !) where you experience the real life in Budapest as you are also supposed to live the locals life with local urban residents and keep the order of the house. You will have a really strong impression when you enter the gateway from busy Market area and you can get in touch immidiatelly with the past 130 years of Hungary. Our full renovated and refurbished (in2015/2020), modern and charming 34 sqm apartment is situated on the 2nd floor, after a walking up in the stuccoed old chic staircase, our entrance is from courtyard's gangway. The house is very safe and quiet. The flat is with A/C, combined living area with a hall/kitchen/dining room (looking out the courtyard side with morning sun), and one bedroom with a window onto the famous Grand Market Hall's colorful ceramic tiles-it is sunny in afternoons. In the airconditioned bedroom there are 2 single beds as a double (as default) +a sofabed (with extra comfy matrasse) for a 3rd person or a babycot. The apartment situates up to 3 guests, but most perfect home for a couple. Free WIFI !
We live in the Pest downtown - my husband, Tibor and little son Milan was born here - and we love Budapest very much ! It is a beautiful, multicultural, modern and old-styled, cool and romantic, lively and very colorful city: still safe, walkable (big but small) and full of secret hidden treasures... Do not forget a comfy pair of shoes, a camera and bathing-suites from your bag ! You are not alone in Budapest: we are here for you ! Collect your questions until we meet !
Shopping...gourming..bathing True Parisian atmosphere in Budapest: located in the downtown Pest at the Danube river and Liberty Bridge, right at the famous Grand Market Hall- in a lively multicultural district, with the oldest Hungarian universities, museums (National Museum, Applied Arts Museum..), typical downtown streets with its patinated and fascinating historical buildings , little hidden squares full of local restaurants, bistros, bars, inns and cafes and its street terraces, with many local stores and antiquities, libraries..Also the world famous Gellért Thermal Bath is in 6 min walking, Rudas is 12 min. across the bridge just opposite on the Buda side. Either the touristy pedestrian street Váci utca begins right at us. The very busy and noisy "Ruin-inn section" is about 15 min. walking/2 tramstops from us-far enough from the nighlifetnoise but close to reach if wish.
