Gorgeous place and close enough to ubud too. Not too many other facilities or restaurants, but the staff is so helpful . They help in planning your tours, arrange drivers, help you feed the koi fish, get ur laundry done, etc. the view is insane! Loved our stay here.
Also find the rosemary shrubs in the restaurant area. So fragrant!!

Underdeveloped property with Great view from a comfortable bed room narrow balcony. This is a rental property has only 2 cabins. See pictures -you can see a glimpse of the partial cabin roof top on far left site. Definitely Not a hotel, I consider this false advertisement. The stairways to and from the cabin was a long walk from the main road, steep, uneven and unsafe because there were no railing guards to hold on. There were not enough lightings to illuminate the property. Need lots of improvements for safety measures. Perfect for adventures and those who love hiking but not for average people, especially those with minor health challenge, older people and children.

the hotel is not worth the money! the worst hotel and room for 800k in which I lived in Bali. Difficult access, no normal parking space and no access for cars and bikes. the room is damp, dirty, the towels are dirty and gray. The bathroom smells bad, there is no air conditioning. The sockets are broken - it looks like they've burned out. the staff doesn't speak English and can't help. We couldn't sleep all night, the music was playing loudly. In the morning there was a disgusting breakfast, not worth the money either. Unpleasant impressions, I don’t recommend it.

This is a stunning area of Bali with the Geopark and many attractions around. Totally different pace to Ubud and other parts of the south. Thoroughly enjoyed the change of scene and pace here, and as always the people are so nice.

Loved this area, so different to the many other areas we visited, perhaps because it is cold at night and hot in the day.
Lush and wilderness feeling with stunning vistas of heights and mountains, lake and village.
Surprisingly upmarket spas and cafes and accomodations.
Multiple hot springs each more elaborate than the next.
Loved the regular village life and agriculture going on everywhere.
I was hesitant to put Kintamani in our 3 week itinerary but it was unique in Bali, spectacularly beautiful and that great mix of tourism convenience but with regular Balinese life going on all around you.

Beautiful place!
Beautiful place! But it is bali.... so expect rubbish, lots of traffic and run down places. But no matter the look, the food was fantastic and so cheap at every place we went.
This isn't a party place, but if you do plenty of activities during the day, hiking, bike riding, white water rafting ect youll be in bed early!
The hot springs in town-
Toya desa- run down charm but loved it! Has terrible reviews online but they seem to have fixed all those problems eg/plastic over the food and allowed refund of cash if you paid by cash (not entry ticket) to load up a token you use (handy cosyour constantly in the water)
Massage wasn't great but facilities good.
The other hot spring- great massage! But really bad facilities and pools.
Mt butar is fabulous. Sunrise hike was incredible... but its extremely cold at the top, so bring warm gear. Beginners hike but it is a mountain so no thongs/flip flops.
Great place to visit for 3-5 days.

The best view that you can find in Asia. The people are nice, there are 3 ways to reach there are a lot of options. The police also actively manage the street to get rid of traffic. A lot of nice restaurants with the best view.

I would recommend to visit Kintamani for the coffee & the beautiful views of nature. Visit Volcano Batur for a hike to see the sunrise (bring hiking shoes, wind jacket, water, small breakfast & headlight, you are not allowed to do the hike by yourself, you pay for a guide).
The hotel at Mount Batur offered stunning sunrise and mountain views from the hotel room. The meals, including breakfast and dinner, were delicious and the host was incredibly welcoming and accommodating. The atmosphere is tranquil and cozy- perfect gateway for relaxation and adventure.
What stood out was the opportunity to arrange a Batur jeep tour from the guesthouse, providing an unforgettable adventure.
This hotel offers a perfect blend of relaxation and adventure. Highly recommended for those seeking a picturesque getaway
I had the pleasure of staying at this stunning villa in Bali, nestled near the mountains. The spacious rooms provided breathtaking views of the lake and mountains, boasting fresh and fragrant bedding that added to the comfort. The highlight was undoubtedly the private pool, offering a refreshingly invigorating experience. As dining options were limited within walking distance, the hotel helped arrange car bookings with locals. The use of WhatsApp for communication was incredibly convenient.
The bungalow is comfortable and the facilities of the hotel are beautiful. All the details, the doors, statues, plants, are cute. The little pool is a perfect place for a lovely sunset with the volcano view. The breakfast was very nice. The staff don’t speak much English but are very kind and helpful, google translator always helped!! We stayed for nearly one week and had an amazing time using all the spaces in the facility.
Amazing view with mountains ,catch the sunrise
And when u lucky u got the fog underneath but that’s not all the time ,sunset not gonna get it ,breakfast are delicious great coffee u got option of vegan milk if u have lactose intolerance, hotel design is amazing except the door ,love the live band they did on weekend lovely rooftop and nice lovely fireplace seats while enjoying the view
Beyond our expectations!!
Villa is absolutely stunning, surrounded by flowers and the greens. Nice view from of the lake and its quiet villa. Komok and his staff are super friendly, representing Balinese people they are always happy to help and do their Best. My favorite part is a stunning view pool with delicious floating breakfast.
we will definitely come back here again.
Amazing property in an offbeat location. The property itself will make you go awwwww. Its beautiful, totally in a lush green place. Best part is just a walk of about 10 to 15 mins will take you to view points showing the Mt Batur's spectacular views. Bali is not just about beaches and ubud rice fields. You should definitely come to this less explored but amazing location.
We are an extended family of 9 people.
The manager Mowgli gave us very good tips for trekking on Mount Batur in the morning. He organized it for us and we had a great hike! Bonus: he is very nice!
The rooms were beautiful, mattresses were hard, best we had over 10 different hotels.
The pool with the view was great, perfect to recover after the hike.
I loved the place
View was breathtaking. Food was very good. Hot spring just fantastic - until the owner of the accommodation didn't start washing his filthy dogs in it at 1am.
People there think that foreigners are bags of money. Have no respect no understanding to us - just unbelievable.
Give them money and just go away.
This was one of the best places I stayed during my trip. The staff is so so so friendly. At night they build a bonfire and I learnt so much about Balinese culture by talking to staff. Also the trekking arranged by hotel was 10/10. If you are looking for a place to stay, this is it!
Great accommodation with magnificent views. The hot springs pool is wonderful. Bed super comfortable, bali coffee delicious. Staff are very helpful and will help you organise anything you need. Food was basic but OK. Breakfast was fine.
The hosts are very lovely and forthcoming. They helped us getting a guide and a taxi. Also they took us to different places without charging anything. Cleanest place in Bali! Very quiete and natural village. We felt very welcomed
Very Very Nice room with a direct view of the lake and mountain. Nice place to relax with your loved ones. You are highly recommended for this villa for Kintamani travelers, especially those who want to hike to mount Batur.
I've stayed for two nights at this hotel and this was the so relaxing time of my journey to the Bali this hotel has very helpful and friendly staff with perfect waterpool and scenic views on the Lake and Mountains - Superb
Architecturally beautiful! Friendly and very helpful staff. Staff helped us book Mt Batur hike and arranged a driver (not affiliated with hotel) to pick us up when we couldn’t get a Grab or taxi in the main town.
