The House is big, bathroom and bedroom are really clean, the bed is comfy!!! The breakfast is delicious but the best part is the owner: welcoming, friendly and help you with everything with wise tips!!! Recommend!!!!!!!!

value for money private room which was spacious and clean the bed was so comfortable I had a great nights sleep ended up extending and staying for 3 nights breakfast was included Dannu booked the Ijen tour for me. water refill included Dannu very kindly, for a small fee, took me to the train station at 4:45am. I really appreciated it. Would recommend staying here for the ijen tour.

Dannu had good English compared to what I've experienced in Bali and Java so far. I booked the Ijen tour through him, slept here in advance, then came back to a breakfast to enjoy. But most importantly, I was heading all the way back to Kuya on Bali and where the companies I was speaking to didn't speak English, Dannu hooked me up and coordinated it for me plus gave me a free ride to the harbor to catch the bus he had coordinated with. Incredibly helpful!

We booked room and shared bathroom. The floor everywhere is so clean, no shoes inside and never felt dust or stickyness on the ground. Room was clean and comfortable. Refillable water and shared kitchen. Bathroom clean too but could do w some airing out. Quiet. We didn’t really cross paths with anyone in the shower or toilet (one of each). We hired a shooter from Danu for a reasonable price for area. Not heaps to do in Banyuwangi area unless you’re willing to drive a bit. Train station about 5min drive away. Danu is super helpful and chill.

Dannu was a delight and was very helpful, giving us lots of information but was not pushy truing to get us to pay for his services for tours etc. He booked things on our behalf and came and told us about any changes that happened (outside of his control). The room we had was very clean, with air-conditioning and a large bathroom. There was a little shop directly opposite so buying water and snacks was super easy. Breakfast was given (egg and cheese on toast with some fruit on the side) for a small fee. Overall our stay was great and we got a great nights sleep the first night (our second night we did Ijen so we only has time for a nap). Dannu organised a driver for us up Ijen, who waited at the bottom for us to do the full hike up and down and then even waited at the Homestay while we showered and got our bags and then took us to the port to go Bali

The hostel were simply furnished, but quite sufficient. The breakfast was tasty and the host Dannus organized the Ijen tour and a cheap transport to Bali for us. So the hosts are a great advantage!
