We stayed 5 nights in the Devi’s place, our children 10 & 7 loved the private pool. The rooms are nice & clean with separate bathrooms. Location is good, there are nice cafes in the area, and can deliver to your villa.

The staff were obliging and helpful, the communication before checkin and during the stay was excellent... the accommodation itself is a lovely retreat environment and very comfortable. Personally I had a minor issue with the location and some difficulties which were independent from the accommodation and just a personal situation - but I was provided assistance by the staff to elevate this as much as was possible. The bed was comfortable and everything was nice and clean, the breakfast included fresh fruit and toast which was great. Ideal place to stay if you are wanting to relax, chill and be closer to the outdoors instead of the very busy Ubud centre... I was able walk to the Campuhan Ridge (go early morning before the heat of the day) and visit this little local shopping / foodie area. All in all very comfortable and enjoyable. Thank you.

Putu and Kadek were perfect hosts from an easy transfer from airport till the moment we departed nothing was ever a problem to help make our stay perfect. Tropical fruits every morning. Great wifi. First time traveller to Bali, amazing experience from start to finish. Driver was organised by Devi's place, very easy to spot amongst the throng at the airport. Accommodation was perfect, tucked away in a quiet part of the village. Favourite was simple but delightful breakfast each morning which we leisurely ate whilst gazing out at the rice fields. Ketut and his staff are truely exceptional, cheerful and very accommodating whilst maintaining a degree of discretion. Nothing was an issue. Location was perfect for us. 30 minutes walk into shopping district of Ubud, 10 mins to Cantika Zest which is an absolute must on your first day and 5 mins walk to a delightful restaurant in evening. So many things we didn't get to do so return journey is definitely on our agenda and absolutely returning to this fabulous place.

Wonderful attention to detail in the design and furnishing of Villa Shanti. This is our family's second time staying at Devi's but this time in an even roomier villa. The large pool was well used by our kids and the cabana was a lovely touch to lie back and read a book in. Beautiful, perfect quiet location but within walking distance to great eateries like Moksa and Yellow Flower Cafe. Right on the rice paddies, scrupulously clean and oh-so quiet - even at dawn, there weren't many roosters in this little corner of Penestanan! Ketut and his staff are lovely and accommodating and communication in English is easy with them. I love being able to support a great small family business like Devi's Place.
