It is a family business and, as in many places like this, the owner and his family are very nice and helpful. A lot of things can be discussed and negotiated and one would always get help when needed. I recommend to ask for an attractions/activities catalog if you're interested - their prices are quite good. The rooms/the rest of the hotel are reasonably well maintained. I also liked the bed/pillow - they were quite comfortable for me. The location of the hotel is amazing, a few minutes each direction one can find many good value restaurants, shops, massage and Ubud highlights. So the missing SPA and restaurant as part of the hotel is not an issue at all. Despite the central location, the place is very quiet. The big garden and the pool completely hide the noise of the busy city. I think the price/value combination is hard to beat.

wow this place has probably the best location in downtown Ubud. it is within walking distance to yoga barn, radiantly alive, plenty of yummy food and quaint shops on jln hanouman and a stone’s throw from monkey forest! with the crazy traffic jam in bali, to be able to walk everywhere is our fortune! the rooms are beautiful, they look much better in real life than the pictures. clean, dust free, strong ac, good balcony, large swim pool, gorgeous gardens walkway, and a quiet sleep. an absolute gem!

Hi, do you have fly screens on the windows to stop mosquitos? For the superior double room, is it possible to have a double and a single?
Dear Guest, All of our rooms have air condition setup, the windows are glassed, so there is no mosquitos entrances from windows. in the room, there are two beds (1 double + 1 single bed). We are waiting for your reservation. Thank you. Regard, Dewa.

Dewa Bungalows is homey style place owned by family of artis ( painter and musician) originally from Ubud and located at Hanoman street 48, ubud, our place is at central of heart ubud city, you just need to start to explore the ubud by walk only from here like 10 minutes walk to monkey forest as well as to ubud palace.You should not worry for lunch and dinner as our restaurant available for you. Our facilities : AC, wi fi, swimming pool, TV ( deluxe view pool) hot and cold water shower, towels and soap.
