It is a beautiful and very quiet place, full of nature or sounds of birds and other animals, the room is very spacious and comfortable, everything is very clean and the bed is excellent to rest in, the staff is very adorable and attentive, they always ask you how you are. I loved their hospitality, the breakfasts are delicious! I will return to the Liyer Spirit house without a doubt

Ketut Liyer Famiy from the bestseller "Eat, Pray, Love" welcomes you to his Guest House. Just 10 minutes away from the crowd of Ubud central. This place will fascinate you with its unique atmosphere and energy. The late Mr. Ketut Liyer was living with his family in Pengosekan. This little village is the spiritual centre of Bali. He met Elizabeth Gilbert (the author of "Eat, Pray, Love") and helped her during her soul-searching journey in Bali where she found happiness, joy and gratitude again. In the book, Mrs Gilbert describes her special encounters with Mr. Ketut Liyer. The traditional Balinese healer gave her some live embracing tools to improve her attitude, positive energy and her life in general. Charming and artistic Ubud. In the early 1700s many artists, dancers, musicians and actors fled to Bali from other islands of Indonesia. This makes Bali and especially Ubud an unique place to discover the culture and traditions. With its ancient architecture and the various offers of cultural experiences, Ubud is the spiritual center of Bali. You will find various opportunities for Yoga, Meditation and Spa treatments along side with Dance shows, Workshops and much more.
