Comfortable and clean (not sparkling but enough). Close to Ubud center 20-30 minutes walking distance. Pool, nice sunset, rice field, delicious breakfast and meal, helpful staff.

Quiet location with amazing views and close to Ubud centre. We stayed in 2 bed, 2 bath villa which included loft accessed by ladder that included a third bed. Deck overlooking the rice fields was unbelievable and we ate breakfast there. Staff are amazing and so helpful. The restaurant is limited but very good home cooking and saved us after we arrived exhausted after long travel day.

The two room villas have antiquities and a great terrace with rice field and coconut tree view, it is spectacular. The one bedroom villas have a nice private garden, glass walls and beautiful furniture. Everything is well kept and very pretty. The breakfast is good, the pool delightful. It is a beautifully built and well managed place. We felt welcomed and at home from the beginning and added another week to our stay here.

This is my second stay at Lodtunduh Sari, and I love it just as much. I love the location, surrounded by nature but quite close to Ubud downtown. There are great places in walking distance: Usha Bakery and Suku coffee (lovely place for brunch, lunch, and dinner!!!), Ubud Fitness, also Warung Green for cheap Indonesian vegetarian dishes. The pool is fantastic, with a view of the rice field. Wi-fi is fast, the water pressure is excellent, hot shower is not a problem. The semi-outdoor shower is an experience in itself! Greeneries and ponds surround the terrace, and in the evening, you can go to sleep accompanied by the singing frogs and cicadas. The staff is very friendly; they are very welcoming and accommodating! :)

what a wonderful place in Ubud, away from the town center with views of the rice paddies. we had a one room villa with a koi pond and private patio. we loved the open air bathroom and the many many windows. we spent a week here, and it was beyond lovely. the staff were all kind, welcoming and wonderful, breakfast was great, and scooter rental was easy. the pool was so refreshing and beautiful too. we highly recommend staying here when in Ubud.

The villa is gorgeous and spacious. We had an adorable terrace with a pond, hammock and private massage hut! We were surrounded by rice fields and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Also was nice that breakfast was included and that they organised transport from the airport as well as laundry and massages. Agus was also very responsive and helpful. Also loved their little book shelf and helped myself to some.

We had one of the villas with a rice field view which was lovely to look out at, any hour of the day. Especially nice sunsets. The farmers who owned the field plowed and planted it with new rice plants while we were there. Fascinating to see. Villa is spacious and beautiful. Very nice pool. Breakfasts are simple, but perfectly fine. This is a small operation with a couple of cooks making everything from scratch, not a large hotel, so obviously a large breakfast buffet would be impractical. There will be sounds you're not used to at night - frogs, birds, insects. You'll spot cute little lizards on the walls from time to time, not just here, but all over Bali, because most buildings are open to the air, which means also open to the wildlife. That's unavoidable, and if you dislike it you should not be vacationing in Bali. Personally, I loved it.
