I thought the place was great for the price. Pool was nice, I prefer in the shade than direct sun. Staff were super friendly and scooter hire is cheap and easy. Location is right in the middle and close to walk to most things although scooter more convenient. Some reviews said about bathroom smell which as with most in Asia it does a small amount. No issue though close door and keep fan on. Same as most places in Bali.

Tucked away from the noise and busy streets, you can easily get peace and quiet and then easily get to get restaurants and bars. Walking around is very easy as there are alleys the cut you to the main streets and beach. Staff was very friendly. Small, simple and clean spot.

The room was a good size and was represented well in the pictures. The hot water shower was also really nice and got really hot and didn't lose its temperature. The staff were all very sweet and accommodating. The pool isn't the biggest for swimming, but you can cool off after a long day and/or use it to take some nice photos. It doesn't get crowded either, which is nice. The location is great! I didn't have a scooter and I had no issues getting around. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance including the Love Anchor Market and the beach. It's basically located right across the street from the FRii Hotel but waaaaaay less expensive. Overall, it was a very good value.

The air con didn't work properly at all and was leaking water when we tried to use it. There was a massive ant infestation in our room. The staff had no idea who we were, or even that we booked with them when we tried to check in. The walls were all cracked, The beds were not comfy and had lots of stains and spots, so we slept in our sleeping bags instead. The shower absolutely had NO HOT WATER, which hot water is advertised in their listing. Overall the worst place I've stayed in while in Bali and all of the 4 different countries I've been to on my trip around southeast asia. Which says a lot considering we have stayed at quite a few budget hotels and hostels....

Very disappointing. Website pictures are totally different from the reality. Bad was broken, sheets had a lot of stains, old towel, bathroom was very bad smelly and not cleaned. No hot water. Lights in the room were very weak. Overall the place is not very cleaned and it seams old. Anyway Staff was super kind, a girl helped me to fix the bed and change the sheets. I don’t recommend the kayuri. In Bali you can find better solutions.

Nothing bad to say!
The kayuri staff was two amazing and helpful, always happy and smiling girls. Room and the whole guest house area was really clean and cozy. Air con and wifi worked really well. Pool was clean and half under the sunlight. Nice hot shower and also had fridge in room. Free simple breakfast and you can rent a scooter really cheap price. It's middle of busy area but still really quiet at night. Lots of restaurants, spas and shops near by.

Room is very small (for couple with one year old son), bathroom was dirty, bed was very bad (every time we thought it would break), breakfast simple and everything dirty (mugs, plates), swimming pool had too much chemicals that our eyes hurt from it! Staff was friendly but was just hanging around (instead of cleaning up) and couldn’t answer simple questions about transport or taxi

The bed kept breaking. The staff is so lazy. Had to fix the bed myself. Everything was dirty disgusting like really disgusting. You tell staff to clean the room and they dont. Forget about cooking in the kitchen, it was disgusting, kept telling them to buy soap for the kitchen, they never did. The pool only has sun like 20 minutes a day

The toilet had a chipped tile so it will always feel like the floor is dirty even when it is now. The toilet smelled funny when we first checked in, I guess due to the door being closed. The towels had a somewhat moist feeling to them even before usage. We were eager to go for breakfast during our first day but there weren't any. Or rather we expected something else (some bread, eggs, cereal, just basic ones) but we only greeted with a loaf of bread, a jar of coffee and boxes of tea.
It was a walkable distance to the beach, which means sunset view everyday. It is about 10 minutes walk to The Lawn, Old Man's and Sand bar, so a great location if you want to party yet stay away in a quieter part.

You can't put loo paper down the loo, which means that as the bin isn't emptied every day it's a bit revolting, it takes getting used to.
The welcome was really nice, the room and pool were perfectly clean and it is a very short walk from the beach. We rented a scooter at the kayuri for 50k and had a really nice drive around the countryside. There are plenty of shops and restaurants a very short walk away. Breakfast was small and very basic but we were happy with it, either scrambled eggs or a sort of toasted banana and cheese sandwich and a plate of watermelon with either tea or coffee. We had originally planned to stay one night and extended to three, our sheets and towels were changed after two days and the room was cleaned for us. We highly recommend this address. One last thing, they do charge 2% for paying by credit card, however this is a normal rate, if not slightly cheaper, compared to other places and compared to rates you get at cash machines.
