Villa Aamisha is a magnificent property, very spacious, well decorated and with incredible views (including sunsets). The staff is super friendly and efficient and the cook (Putu) is out of this world. Whether to chill out in 5 star luxury, or whether to explore the pristine region of East Bali, this villa has it all! Highly recommended!

Het open karakter van het woongedeelte geeft een prachtig uitzicht over de zee. Ik heb erg genoten van het heerlijke zwembad, het uitzicht vanuit mijn kamer (op het zwembad en de zee) en niet te vergeten de heerlijke gerechten van de kok(kin). Ik heb haar zelf het menu laten invullen en dat raad ik iedereen aan. Zij heeft mij verrast.

A fantastic spacious Villa, on a hilltop just 5km before Candidasa in a small town called Sengkidu. 4 large bedrooms, all with separate bath, shower and toilet and a big walk in closet. Infinity swimming pool, looking out over the sea, including children's pool. Sunbeds at 2 sun terraces, including large sun umbrellas. Experienced indonesian staff to make sure you get quality service throughout the day. Excellent chef, to prepare lunch and dinner. Famous are her indonesian "rijsttafel", ginger prawns and Balinese duck. A large barbecue is available on the upper terrace, preparing for a fantastic seafood dinner. A large upstairs living & dining room, decorated with tasteful Balinese antiques. A relaxing open lounge area downstairs, to have breakfast in the morning and watch TV and games in the evening.

The area of East Bali, karangasem , is wonderful to explore. The harbour of Padang Bay, white sand beach and the waterpalace near to Amlapura, snorkling at Blue lagoon and visiting the oldest Balinese village at Tanganan! A day trip to Ubud, getting amazing views on the ricepaddies, and for sure passing many Balinese temples and "processies" along the way. The Island, the people, the culture and the climate; what a fantastic holiday destination!
