Created by artist and master builder Wayan, our 5 villas are a slice of peaceful heaven with the best view ever overlooking a huge rice field in Ubud's Lodtunduh village. We designed them in a modern tropical minimalist style to reflect a deep connection with the land and an environment in harmony with nature. No matter which villa you choose to stay in, we provide a superlative experience for guests so you can have an authentic Bali vacation and truly relax. We have a wonderful management and hospitality team (Ubud Red Lotus Management) to create a seamless experience for you from booking to arrival to departure.

Property info

Harmony retreat is composed of 5 beautiful and private luxury villas set on the edge of a huge rice paddy in the village of Lodtunduh, about 2.5 km from Ubud. It's a quiet contemplative place to unwind, yet only minutes from the cultural capital of Ubud. The villas are the perfect setting for an individual stay, a yoga retreat, family get together, corporate meeting or wedding. Affordably priced and tastefully furnished in tropical modern minimalist style. Soaring bamboo interior roof structures, granite kitchens and terrazzo floors, designer gardens and stone bathrooms for each beautifully luxurious bedroom. Private decks for serious unwinding, a private waterfall, a meditation garden, lush landscaping and a large yoga deck are just some of our many amenities. Kitchens are equipped for guests who want to prepare their own meals and optional cooking classes are available for those who want to try their hand at mastering Balinese cuisine. All villas are steps away from the stunning 15 meter infinity pool, situated on the very edge of the bluff overlooking the rice. All villas have high speed internet included and there's wifi throughout the Harmony property.

Neighborhood info

Lodtunduh is a really lovely community. We are only 2 km away from Ubud so it's peaceful and relaxing yet close to the "action". There's a lot going on in Lodtunduh village and it's a fun place to explore. It's a village of farmers and artisans. Villagers can be seen grooming their fighting cocks, drying rice on the road, or participating in the numerous religious festivals. Our village is still mostly agricultural and it’s a fascinating place to experience real Bali village life which can't be found in touristy areas such as Kuta or Seminyak. That's the lovely thing about our area of Lodtunduh village. You'll likely encounter ceremonies, celebrations, weddings, a cremation perhaps (a big event in Bali) , the local temple festivals. But most of all you'll see (depending on when you visit) the fascinating cycle of rice farming from preparing the fields, planting seedlings, thinning out the new rice, watching the ducks do their amazing dances, to harvesting, threshing and drying. It’s one of the best things about visiting Harmony - the cycle is fascinating to watch no matter when you come! We're very close to the Monkey Forest, Goa Gajah (Elephant Cave) and Bali Bird Park.
