Villa Tau is a newly renovated 4-bedroom, 4-bathroom colonial-style villa set just 6km north of central Ubud, in the heart of the iconic rice fields of Kendaran. In a tranquil setting surrounded by beauty, Villa Tau has the advantage of being an easy 15-minute drive to central Ubud, and is close to most of the sites that visitors come to the Ubud area to see. We've added touches like a pool table, an honesty bar and full staff for your added enjoyment. We are not a self-catering villa. Breakfast is included in the rate and we offer lunch and dinner from a reasonably priced a la carte menu although there is no obligation to eat at the villa. Our capacity is 8 people (excluding two children on mattresses) but our base rate is for 6 people. We then charge per person for the seventh and eighth person. There is a travelling cot available for infants and small children at no extra charge. Children 4 and under stay free. This colonial-style double-storey villa, with three separate pavilions, is beautifully furnished in an eclectic mix of contemporary design and carefully selected Balinese antiques. We have aimed for a stylish yet relaxed feel conducive to a laid-back holiday.

We've been going to Bali for over 25 years, both as a newly married couple and then later with our children. Villa Tau is the newest villa - the others are Villa Sagitta in Pejeng, just outside Ubud; Villa Cocoa Maya in Candidasa and Villa Bebek in Seminyak. Global Villas is very serious about making sure that our guests’ hard-earned holiday goes well on our watch and therefore we manage the properties to the highest standards. Kenderan is perfectly placed - only 6 km north of Ubud, it is easy to enjoy everything Ubud has to offer in terms of restaurants, shopping and sights. In addition, most of the sights that people come to the Ubud area to see are within easy reach of Villa Tau and we have a car and driver available for you throughout your stay.
